Vic Darchinyan to fight Z Gorres in IBF eliminator
The IBF has declared Darchinyan can take part in an eliminator for their super-flyweight titel now held by Russian Dimitri Kirilov.
Sixth ranked Darchinyan will fight seventh rated Gorres in an eliminator, possibly in Connecticut on December 1 on the undercard to Nonito Donaire v Luis Maldonado.
``In the next year, I can win two or three (more) world titles,'' Darchinyan told AAP.
``Slowly my dream is happening. When I was the (flyweight world) champion, no-one wanted to fight me in a unification.
``Now, everyone wants to fight me.''

it will be great to see Vic fight Gorres in a elimanator bout.
I am a great supporter of Vic and I know he was in cruise control against Catubay. He turned it on in the twelth round landing 26 unanswered punches. It will be a good test to see where Vic is at in this next bout. Goress is world class and it was the roberry of the century when the referee deducted 2 points in two seperate rounds against Fenando Montiel, he lost that on spilt decision and to top it off he wasnt even given a warning in both instances.
I still cant believe how a lot of people have written off Vic after one loss. If he fought patient against Donaire as he did Catubay, he would have slaughtered him. Hats off to Catubay, he was a lot more experienced against Vic and he was true to his words that he trained hard for the first time for that bout, he took a shit load of heavy shots.
Go THE RAGING BULL!

This should be a great fight for Vic, Gorres is a tough opponent and should put him in good stead for another Title shot.
If the Green Tarver fight finally gets signed for 1 Dec it will be a great card Aussie fans. I wonder if any others could get a fight on there, Soliman perhaps? That would be even more awesome!

This will be Vic's hardest test to date. But thank god he isnt like the majority of australian boxers who fight to keep a clean record then step on the world stage and look amteurish and make a mockery of Australian boxing. Test yourself over here - you either sink or swim and not look like a chump later.
The BULL will fight anyone - anywhere , and always poses the challenge if your good enough to take the title off him , then its yours.
The fact that we breed "The tall poppy syndrome" in australia , is a bloody shame. I cant wait for him to stick it up all the doubters and knockers - 1 loss and all of a sudden your wasted - bitches please!!!
Go and KTFO all of your opponents Champ! Your without question this country's best boxer and some other boxers could learn a lesson or two about putting their balls on the line instead of singing it and not bringing it!
God help you Z GORRES your going to cop it big time!

yes Marlin this is how the sport can be so cruel vic is'nt invible anymore who had vic fought before he became champ thats right alot of hand picks good mangement from his team. but choc gets a hand pick and he's a loser vic vs catubay please I did'nt hear the public chanting for this match up that was a pitful match #67 vs #6 vic could of got that workout in the gym. It will be interesting to see how strong mentally vic is after that KO from Donaire if u ever been KO'd in that fashion u know not many fighters can come back to form only the mentally strong do. against a fighter like Z at this stage of vics mental recovery I believe Z wins by TKO to early for vic he needs more hand picks to get his confidence back and Z has seen vic KO'd and beaten so u can be sure as shit Z will try emulate that and will not be intimidated by bully tac tics , I like Vic but I know it's to early for him
well he has'nt be KO'd as bad as vic was still to early to take a fight like that maybe a tough fight against a under norished and unfit contender like catubay that will give him a great learning experience
Mate mark my words Vic will KO Gorres . When fighters are undeafeated like Vic was you take a lot of things for granted and assume wins will come along. Donaire beating Vic was the best thing that has happened to him. If he beats Z Gorres it will wipe away a lot of the shit that has stuck to him since the loss.

xxl- I dont think he'll KO z gorres I think the shit that is stuck to vic will stay stuck, getting KO'd in that manner is'nt the best thing that could happen to any fighter, I see it a split desicion if vic wins due to vic taking the early rounds, or another devestating KO win for Z. but I would like to see an oz world champ, but it still to early for vic to take an opponent like Z , gorres by ko under 10 rounds
