Who are you SUPPORTING? Calzaghe or Kessler

Heres a question to all the Brits on here. I'm not asking who you think will win, but who will you be supporting?

It seems kessler has got himself a fair few British fans on here, many of whom may have never actually seen him fight, but due to a dislike of Joe, FW or SN, are backing a foreigner.

Is this accurate, and, I ask again, patriot or jolly foreigner?

Calzaghe, unequivocably.

There are very few instances where I'll root for a foreign boxer over a Brit. Many times I'm neutral, though. Patriotism is not automatoc.

Calzaghe for me. I still feel Brit fighters winning is for the greater good of boxing in the UK.

And Joe is a good fighter too, just wish I'd had the chance to cheer him on in some big US fights.

I am pretty neutral. A Calzaghe win would be nice for Britain, but a Kessler win is probably better for the sport in general as he has shown a willingness to travel and take on difficult assignments. I think it's safe to say Calzaghe has not shown much of that the last 10 years. I just want to see a good fight.

I like KEssler and he is half English. A win would him would be better for the sport.

But have been a fan of Joe's since the amateurs. And I have put some money on him to win on points.

It was a purse bid won by the Germans wasn't it? So hardly his choice!

He also fought McIntyre in Denmark.

Far better for the sport of boxing if he wins.

Don't talk to me about patriotism when it comes to Calzaghe/Warren.

Kessler 100%. I like the super middleweight division. Who's more likely to fight Froch, Bute and Inkin? I like Kessler's style of fighting better as well.

Preferring to see Kessler win amounts to treason - Some of you fuckers need to be sitting on a bonfire come November 5th :)

Seriously though, I am a fan of British boxing and Kessler winning this fight is NOT good for British boxing.

I will always support a British fighter over a fighter with another nationality.

I want Calzaghe to win and have picked him, though without confidence. I wish I could make my support for him conditional on a guarantee that his few remaining fights after this are BIG fights against the best at 175. He no longer has the time to waste on the Pudwills, McIntyres etc.

No patriotism involved for me, it's one of the things I like about boxing, is being able to follow who you like regardless of nationality.

I still want Joe to win though, I think he's the best of his generation at 168, and I think a win over Kessler at age 35 will prove that.

Pre and post Lacy he was saying big fights only from there and we got Bika and Manfredo! I'm not so sure the 'big' fights will come after this should he win.

Its weird for me - heart says Calzaghe for the brits but my head wants Kessler for the greater good of boxing - Calzaghe has stated he wants to retire soon( 2008) so if he wins and then retires there will be a void in the SM division( not dissimilar to when Lennox retired).
