Calzaghe undercard is SHIIT!

Imagine paying £1.2k for a ringside seat for that load of toilet!

Yeah must admit its a poor one, shame really with so many of the welsh boxers doing so well for themselves. Would have been great to see Lockett, Rees or Pryce on the bill to add a bit more excitement before enzo at ten past bloody 12.

I certainly don't want a refund, yes it's a bad undercard and Frank is a twat, but it's all about the mainevent tbh.

What a shower of shit this is.It be better having 2 central area level fighters fighting than some of these matches. Why does he do it? I not going to watch boxing til enzo comes on, what happened to Skelton?

Not sure where you got your 1200 from, but it's wrong. I'm ringside (C4) and paid face value (200). I'd pay that just to turn up and watch Calzaghe Kessler so any other fight is a bonus to me!!

The most expensive tickets, I think, is 300 although it mightbe 500. Most companies are offering VIP packages from 1000.

Well if Calzaghe and kessler didnt want all of the dough maybe it would be a lot better, FW has proberly no more money left to pay anyone!

Well I'm glad I don't have to sit through that undercard, but FW must be paying a king's fortune to get JC and Kessler in the ring.

Anyone know the purses for the main event?

i just find the whole thing a shame, undercards are not as high in quality as they used to be, we are served up poor undercards from FA frequently, hennessy too has done it once and warren seems to be doing it more on a regular basis. i like to see a show that, if the main event was cancelled at short notice, then the undercard would hold its own.

hennessy shows are usually great value for this, but recently frank maloney has been putting on quality shows with quality match making, take for instance the haye/bonin show..... the oakey fight gets called off at the last minute, but we still had haye to watch and the likes of geard A v maxwell. great match ups.

I am sure I read somewhere it was in the region of 2 million each with Calzaghe getting a little more than Kessler.

My mistake, £1200.00 ncludes two nights at the Hiltpon, STILL - with that undercard - I say £350.00 ringside is about right!

And that means you pay that for Calzaghe and get the rest of the night for for free!
