You're now 24, so isn't it about time you grew up?
You're a big boy physically, but it seems top end is slightly off balance. :P

There is just no way you can convince me that it's OK for you to change a result when the commissioner himself told you I didn't lose, and have a clear mind about it. :-?

I cant help but think what an absolute joke it is that this fight has been changed AGAIN let alone into a lose!

Records and results cannot be taken seriously on boxrec if this sort of thing continues!

Bad decisions are part of Boxing. On the night the other guy was announced as the winner. I was there live Chauncy. Panterra said it was a close fight on the night.

It was a very competitive fight. He was announced the winner, but because the judge added his card wrong.
How's Pantera doing?

??
Is that so?
Recorder adds-up scores & not judges.

As far as a judge ADMITTING to you or anyone else he stuffed up is as good as me being the next man holidaying on the moon :P

As a compromise, how about a note under the fight explaining the circumstances?
Just a thought.

if theres false paperwork it needs to be proven beyond doubt. One man cannot just decide for himself its false.

As an editor it should be your job to make sure all results are 100% legit and in this case they are not so the result should be a NC. Simple as that.

Craig
The letter that was sent to Venezuelan editor Mike DeLisa, who in turn sent it to me was a forgery.
Sure it had McCrystal's signature & his Justice of Peace stamp, but other details on the document i.e. email address, tel number & address was NOT his.

When I phoned him about it he was somewhat surprised to hear about it.

In case you didn't know, McCrystal isn't exactly known for written correspondence. He seems to prefer to ring thru results than write them out & fax them.

I sent what was given to me. Gary said, and SAYS, this is a No Contest, and remains to be, case closed! I spoke with Gary about a week ago, and he said this was still the case.
Gary has a letter, from the judge stating he made a mistake on his scoring of the fight, and you yourself said Gary said that Anton!

Why the sudden change? I'm not being a dick when I say that. That's a real question. This was changed over a year ago for good. You yourself said Anton this was a dead case and Gary told you. What's the deal? :-? [/u]

It was NEVER going to be a closed case until now my friend. I was eventually going to get on top of it.
I have since found out more than you care to know. Craig, yourself & anyone else can go on for ever & ever but nothing is going to change.
END OF STORY

You are probably doing yourself more harm than good by carrying on like 2 bob watch.

Good Bye!

Totally different situation Brett.
Mistakes can & do happen, but proper procedure is to approach the ‘Officiating’ body ASAP & not a BoxRec editor on the other side of the world with falsified paperwork to change the result.

Why not approach Mike Attree, Brad Vocale, Graham Dicker or myself , who are by far more familiar with NZ boxing & its many head honchos than editor Mike DeLisa, to sort it out??

Brad & I know all of them inside out & upside down...we've been around for quite a while and as such we are well aware of NZ's boxing politics/bullshit :P

John Shep is very familiar with my background...hence the locking rights.

BTW Chauncy, surely you didn't think OPBF president (& WBC ratings chair) Frank Quill was going to fall for 'half Yank half Kiwi' in your attempt to fight for OPBF title???
FYI, Frank wasn't born yesterday :P OPBF is the only Regional body that is and always will be very strict on residentially qualified.

I would first like to add, I contacted Mike as I know him from cyberboxingzone.com and he was the only boxrec-editor I knew. I contacted him, and John Glozier sent him the info that McCrystal gave him.

Also Anton, please get your facts straight. I NEVER once told anybody in the World I was half Kiwi. I told Quill I have residency in New Zealand, and I still do. That can not go into question as I have it, and have had it for almost 3 years.

Done a check, which reviled you've never been granted permanent residency. Which is understable...Why grant one if one has no intention to live there permanently???

I simply love your bullshit so keep it up

No doubt this thread will hit all time record views. You can whinge as much as you like, but in the end......nothing will change. :P

On second thought....Do yourself a favour & walk away from it.

Cheers from this somewhat PEDANTIC BoxRec's recorder :D
