might be a balanced broadcast if we had a Scot or an Irish vs a Welsh.

Maccarinelli is the #1 cruiserweight beyond doubt...forget Haye, forget Mormeck (courtesy of Enzo C.)

It's a joke, how does this kind of fight enforce Enzo Macarinelli as the number one? He stood up and battered an inept "challenger" into submission. I'm not knocking Enzo, he's a talent but his matchmaking leaves a lot to be desired. One step forward, two (or sometimes 3!) steps back.
He wasn't fighting Cunningham, Bell, Mormceck, Haye, Huck, Wlodarcyzk, Adamek or even Wilson in there. He was in with Mohammed Azzaoui. Must be one of the only world champions around today with such a string of none world class names (Braithwaite aside) on his recent ledger.

Future looks grim for Enzo Macc: an endless parade of WBO no hopers judging by tonight.
The WBO, who sanctioned Sellers, then when told by the BBofC that he was not good enough....agreed.

Unbelievable. So, it was supposed to be easier than that? It was supposed to be a world title fight FFS!

Azzaoui is being talked up here, he was poor, let's be honest.

They have a bit of time to kill. Barrie Jones name was mentioned i assume he was the floating bout? Jamie Cox was scheduled on before the main event.

"It's a credible win for Macarinelli tonight" Dempsey is on rare form tonight
Klaus Peter Kohl is in the arena, Buncey is calling him Hans.

The way it's going Enzo will be WBO champ for at least 10 years.

Enzo's career looks like it's going to be a carbon copy of Calzaghe's. So we can expect a defining fight in 8 years or so.

They announced at the start of the broadcast that Jones would be on at 00.10 so it's a little late. Perhaps Jamies Cox is the swing bout?? Or has he fought already??

Don't mean to diss Enzo M, but maybe his team are just waiting for Haye to move up before they make a 'proper' move?

Bunce must have lived in the Calzaghe gym this week.

You bunch of cynics.
Don't you know we have the best promoter in the world, the best trainer in the world and the best fighters in the world. 8)
But seriously we knew how the undercard was going to turn out. I hope the headliner lives up to the anticipation (despite the dampener that this buidup show has turned out to be).

I have a feeling that while we get the big fight buildup in about 20 minutes or so the half hour gap in the arena will be filled with the Cox bout.

The knockdown was more tangled legs but it was a punch as well. Jones looked okay in his last fight with Jay Gould but needs a big finish here to secure a win.

Back and not as pissed as I planned to be. Still got a bottle of red wine for a friend until the big one.
Missed the Enzo 'fight', unsurprisingly doesn't sound like I missed much.

You get Setanta in OZ Ben?
Jones is on against Saheed, i imagine Jones will get it even though he was down in the 2nd. Saheed is always difficult to watch.
