Total Bollox from allegedly and Enzo About Haye

Post by josh fg »

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/7077960.stm
"If Mormeck wins, it's definitely a fight that can be made," said Maccarinelli's promoter allegedly.

"But if Haye wins, it's a bit more problematic because he's turned down big money to fight Enzo once before."
All reported as true without mention of options of warren's history of fcuking fighters from rival promoters.

Reading that you would almost believe he is fighting Mormeck so he can get away from Enzo, and supposing he does win it'll be a case of him running up to heavyweight I can see it already. It pisses me off how Warren is allowed by the media to pull this shit time and again.

The only thing that stopped Haye - Macarinelli happening was allegedly.

Its unbelievable that one mans greed can stop such a fantastic fight yet he gets away with it time and time again. Both fighters wanted it to happen but warren insisted on options on Hayes future fights and single handedly stopped it happening.

If im not mistaken he did a similar thing with Froch who was all set to fight Calzaghe until he was offered a pittence and warren wanted 'options' on him too

Forget allegedly Warren & Enzo. Haye has got a real figther in front of him come next saturday & David knows it! He hasn't underestimated Mormeck & I believe Haye will do the business & win the the title!

If he does, Haye will have achieved something that Maccarinelli hasn't doe in his career to date. Haye will have beaten 'The Man', proving himself to be the best cruiserweight in the world.

All this bullshit about how Haye has pulled out of a proposed bout with Maccarinelli once before, it's laughable. Allegedly Warren & Enzo are mugging themselves off. It's ridiculous.

During the Setanta broadcast on saturday, Steve Bunce & Clinton Woods were asked who was in a better position, Haye or Maccarinelli? Both said Enzo! I can't see how the feel this? Haye is fighting the legitamant Cruiserweight champ, forget all the other belt holders, Mormeck is the current NO.1 in the world.

When Haye beats Mormeck, I'd like Buncey & Woods to be asked the same question again!

I think my frustration comes from the brasen arrogence not only of making it look like haye is ducking Enzo but also all the bollocks about a fight with Azuria making him the man at the devision. All he has realy done is catch Hobson cold at the second time of asking, beaten up an aging and inactive braithwait and feed on a stream of bums. Haye has held the European title and is looking to fight the man in the devision. To read that artical by the bloody bbc would make one think that the world is waiting around to see what Enzo will do next.

yeah, the sad thing is that some ppl will believe this. Haye's taking the direct route to the top for the main belts vs the main man.

If he wins, he's in a very good position. I'll bet America will be watching, on say the MSG channel or something. Haye has the personality and the punch and the ATTITUDE to be a big star.

Macca's being undersold. With Pavlik and Cintron doing well right now, this is the era in which a big white puncher can get big attention. They're missing the boat, as that silly Azzaoui fight showed. Good body punching by Macca, mind.

Woods can barely speak without falling over and Steve Bunce is a tool of magnificent proportions. I wouldn’t worry about their opinions. Isn’t Woods one of Hobson’s boys anyway? And we know how they feel about Haye.

Enzo got a decent win against Braithwaite, but he isn’t exactly a world-beater and has lost three of his last four fights (including a UD against JMM). If Haye KO’s Mormeck, Enzo should run for his life, not look for David.

It’s irrelevant anyway as Haye has said on multiply occasions that he can’t box at Crusier for any longer.

No, he doesn't fancy it anymore. FACT (BASED ON HAYE STATEMENT)

He did at the time. FACT (BASED ON HAYE STATEMENT)

His camp didn't fancy the terms that were put to them in the contract and that's that. FACT (BASED ON BOOTH STATEMENT)

It has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with bottle. OPINION

Did FW want options on Haye? INTERROGATIVE

If I say I will fight you if you give me a million pounds and when you refuse to do so, am I justified in saying you 'turned me down' and 'bottled it'? RATHER SARCASTIC POSTULATION

Does putting FACT at the end of sentences make things true on here?

Warren's influence over a boxer's careers is undeniably positive and he is not solely motivated by money FACT

I doubt whether Haye's side were really trying to make the fight and were possibly just doing a publicity stunt.

Surely Haye's people didn't want to mess up their mandatry shot at Mormeck as well to fight Mac? They would of lost Haye's WBC mandary position otherwise and Haye doesn't have time to waste making Cruiser because of building muscle too soon.

Don't worry Max, it's ok to be a Warren cheerleader - this week

Seriously, I think Haye wanted it but they couldn't agree on terms. They couldn't agree or the terms weren't right so Haye went for the main title. He earned that shot when he blew away Gurov, and I hope he does well on Sat.

Whoever said Macca's not a world beater. That is wrong. He is a world beater but he sort of gets matched like a prospect. Doubt we'll see the BIG fights until Calzaghe's retired and Enzo takes over as Wales' main fighter.

I hope Enzo will be ready for when the likes of Hernandez, Alexeev and other top fighters come through...Taking easier assignments on occasion has proven not to retard Calzaghe's progress, so maybe hard work in the gym, the odd decent bout here and there, etc will enable Mac to improve until it's time to step up.

I prefer Haye's attitude - willing to gamble - myself. You don't have as long a career probably but it makes boxing more exciting.

I think you're talking about me - I meant Braithwaite isn't a world beater. Macca has the potential to beat anyone in the world if he connects that lefthook to the body.

i think we are all forgetting the massive ego that comes with the man haye.

you just have to look at his appearances on (shit) talk show soccer AM, repeatedly getting his six pack out and flexing his muscles. the blonde bird helen chamberlain gave him a look that said 'what the fornicate is he doing? what a prick'.

the fact is that he really has proved nothing, whereas enzo has beaten a genuinely good fighter in braithewait. i may be forced to eat my words after the weekend, and good luck to the guy, but i would back enzo to the hilt against haye and mormeck.....the guy is class.

Frank insisted on options on Hayes further career if he were to beat Enzo, Haye told him to fcuk off. As far as I'm aware Frank hasn't offered Haye a decent purse without options.

Frank doesn't half make the most of the extra publicity he gets, by filling the casual fan full of self-promoting inaccuracies and gobshite. The drivel that he spouts in his NOTW column is now spreading into his post-fight interviews :x

Yes, Haye is really breaking the cliche of boxers being wall flowers who only speak when spoken too.

Are you sure Helen was not looking at Tim Lovejoy?

To be honest i think Haye will lose to Mormack,Haye has very, very poor stamina,Haye looks the part and has charisma and well as A1 bottle(to fight anyone)

Hayes stamina is less than poor,he trains with weights

Haye v Big Mac is a British super fight after Hayes gets blown away in France

Big Mac Tko 7 over Haye

How can it be a stunt? Sign for the fight and you, probably, lose your ranking. Fail to sign for the fight and SN can smear you without worrying about anyone pulling them up on it.
Well they went through a WBC eliminator aiming for Mormeck then In March/April come up with an offer to fight Mac and Haye's not even around to sign the contract.

I don't think Haye has got "very, very poor stamina" as you say he has. There may have been an argument for this after he blew up against Carl Thompson, but since then hes fought alot more patiently and his stamina hasn't been an issue, he even stopped Johanson and Fragomeni late on in their fights.

Haye sparks Mormeck and then hopefully he can fit in a defence (Enzo) before moving to HW, but I think he moves straight up irrespective of this Saturdays result

Haye has less than good stamina

When you get tired in a fight,a girl can knock you out

Big Mac can throw shots and stay busy for 12 rounds,Haye cant because haye trains with weights and is a male model

At Enzos gym they train old school, something Haye should beware of

Enzo def wanted the fight, and Haye seemed up for it but Haye wanted a one fight deal whereas FW demanded options

That is why the fight did not happen, simple as that
