Joe proved he's an all time great last night, and is in the current P4P top 2 or 3. Kessler was an excellent, if not quite great fighter, and Joe outboxed him. Joe also showed hes got a titanium chin, some of the punches Kessler landed were bazookas. I dont see anyone beating him below CW, I think Froch might be the only one to burst Joe's bubble, as hes unorthodox and got serious power. I dont know much about Chad Dawson, other than the big plaudits hes getting. These are the only 2 dangermen out there for him now imo. Joe would annhilate Pavlik or Taylor, and it would be a waste of time for him (other than the money) fighting any of the dads army of Jones, Hopkins, Trinidad or Wright. Clinton Woods deserves a shot but would be outclassed like he was by Jones
Historically, I'd put Joe right up there with BHop now, both are great fighters but half- to a notch below Roy Jones.
It's official: Calzaghe is an ATG
I agree with the majority of views, personally think James' post is a little OTT. But undoubtedly earns his status as an ATG. Don't think he is above Lewis, but moves above Naz and that other Super Middles from the UK.
The reason why I disagree with James' post is cause I think Kessler was pissed off with his own performance (yes, no doubt Calzaghe's speed, power and ability had a massive factor - but he did look dissapointed in himself) - also, not even vs DLH did Mayweather look in as big a trouble as some of the periods that Calzaghe was in.
Fight I would like to see is Kessler rematch at Light Heavy.

I think Hopkins is an easier night for Joe than Woods. Woods is a naturally bigger man, takes a shot and keeps coming, though I fail to see what he does better than Kessler on reflection.
If Joe fights twice more....then Hopkins in the USA and Roy Jones Jnr (if he beats Tito) at Millenium would be a good send off.
If he fights three times; Hopkins, Woods and then Jones.
All winnable, big pay-check fights.

It looked like the girl who was at the weigh in trying to get a good look at Kessler in the buff. Isn't it the same one who does the interviews for Frank's internet and 'you tube' site?rooney wrote:anybody know who the girl was who was trying to get on the photos with Joe, at the end? She was dressed as some sort of beauty queen! Couldn't understand why she was there!
