With only four days to go until the bout, I very much doubt the fight will be shown, which is fcuking ridiculous. King is obviously holding any company interested in purchasing the tv rights to ransom!

Haye's fighting the recognised No.1 in the division & we are unable to see it on tv. Bloody marvelous isn't it! :x

If Haye wins, does King have options on his career afterwards?

I hear that it's on Canal +

There's a website I know of that streams boxing (and football) to an excellent quality and they're hoping to pick up the feed.

I'm not sure if I can post links on here though.

PM if anyone wants details.

No, it's a mandatory defence. No options allowed.

If it's King + WBC show then there will be a handshake on options somewhere along the lines....

Rubbish. Why on earth would Haye give away options for a mandatory title shot? Never.

Looking bleak aint it......secondsout to the rescue?

Don will be holding out for big bucks, but as Sat approaches, he might be tempted to offer a list minute deal - trouble is, that will be bad for business from his POV, as the TV stations will know to hold out next time as well. So unlikely.

Yes Canal+ France shows it at 20.50, around 8pm UK time I think.

Anyone know of a stream, PM me - PLEASE :D

I get C+ scrambled pics, so might shop around for a dodgy card - they show a lot of boxing - Cotto/Mosley as well I hear, so obviously have good taste!

A message from Adam Booth (via the doghouse)
This is just a little update on Davids training camp for you guys that are interested, as we now know for sure that you wont get to see it due to the promoter and tv networks not seeing 'eye to eye'.

Its sunday night at 11.30pm. We have just finished the last hard session. David is in the best shape of his life. This is not an overused boxing cliche...it is the truth. the evidence we have is undeniable. There will be now excuses.

He is ready. He has left NOTHING to chance.

We know this is the hardest fight that he will probably EVER have because of Mormecks style, and everything has been done accordingly. Equally, I am convinced that David is the most dangerous man Jean Marc will have seen. You have the best 2 in the division going at it, like Hatton & PBF.

I think any boxing fan or officianado with any know how KNOWS that Jean Marc Mormeck is THE world champion. And to be the champion you have to BEAT the champion.

For a long time people have questioned davids true potential. He has ignored all false distractions, regardless of how they have been dressed up by the deceivers that be, to chase his own legacy and respect for himself as a man and a fighter.

We are devastated that the fight will not be shown live in UK, but at the moment of celebration, his thoughts will be with his true supporters.

I would like to clear one thing up for everyone on Davids behalf. That is that the fight with Enzo Macaranelli will never happen at cruiserweght. Enzos people made sure that it would not happen. We have NO TIME for them.

Should he move up to heavyweight, prove himself, and be represented in an honourable and fair manner, then it might.

For now, we have only one concern, and that is the man who deserves the respect of number 1 in the world.

We have been in training camp since June (due to the delay from the original date of sept 28th).

We will return to UK on sunday 11th, with THE WORLD TITLES!!
Adam Booth
Basically we're not going to get to see it live because King is a cant

Haye Vs Enzo is not going to happen at Cruiser because Franks a cant!

Mormecks in a whole world of shit :D  :box:

I've HAD to empty my betting account and put it all on Haye, come on my san!!! 8)

they just probably haven't got final word that the local commision (or whatever) and the sanctioning body will approve. considering that haye is the mandatory WBC there's no problem

Don't panic. Boxrec has that 'subject to approval' up on every fight in the scheduled these days. Disclaimer basically, or words to that effect.

Do they need a disclaimer? It really clutters up the schedule pages.

I think they didn't play ball with King, submitting to any demands. That must be why the fight kept getting postponed (purse bids, fight date, probably UK TV as well, etc). I would think that they haven't signed their souls away. Haye seems to look up to Lennox, who made sure never to give King a thing, and Maloney is definitely developing him in LL's footsteps.
