Do you deny that Warren's offer included options on Haye's future carrer, one could understand why that isn't something that a fighter struggling to stay at a weight will want to deal with as all it would need would be for a rematch to be 6 months later giving Enzo the advantage of messing with hayes progress and carrer possibly at HW.

The thread came up beacuse Warren was using haye's name to get press for Enzo something that Warren's crew have criticised others for. The reson the same arguments come out is that we base our oppinions on the histories of the fighters. Haye when strugling to find an opponent took a fight at Heavy Weight agaisnt the WBC # 12 who took harrison 9 rounds, Enzo fights Bobby Gun and Mohamed Azzaoui.
As your so knoledgable could you tell us the difference in margenal returns which would have been derived from spending more on a better undercard rather than relying on what was a good top of the bill fight.

Well they went through a WBC eliminator aiming for Mormeck then In March/April come up with an offer to fight Mac and Haye's not even around to sign the contract.

Why are people saying Haye is scared of Enzo? He's going to fight the No. 1 Cruiserweight in his own back yard, whilst Enzo is messing about with unproven fighters who step in on a weeks notice after his last challenger was deemed unsuitable by the BBBC.

If he loses to Mormeck then he can still go back and fight Enzo. And if he wins he'll be the guy calling the shots not Warren.

Indeed this is why there is the suspition about the truthfulness of Warren's claimes, firstly because Enzo hasn't been the most ambitiouse fighter in the history of the devision, secondly because Haye is fighting a much more highly rated fighter and thridly because more fighters seem to "unreasonably" refuse to fight Warrens fighters and "big" offers than any other promoter.

enzo signed the contract for the the fight, FACT.
haye went to the states when he was supposed to be in a meeting in a london lawyers office to sign the contract, FACT.
FW has offered haye decent money TWICE, Enzo has agreed TWICE and haye has bottled it TWICE, FACT.

I'm not privvy to precisely what happened, but the fact that Haye did not accept the contract, does not mean neccessarily that Haye avoided the fight. If the terms were not favourable, then why on earth should he sign it?

I thought Buncey - who I like as a studio pundit a lot - was out of this phase. Obviously, working for the BBC required him to hype Audley beyond what is reasonable. What are they going to say when Haye's the WBC/WBA cruiserweight champ with a top 10 heavyweight (WBC) ranking?? While Enzo's maybe getting ready to fight a blown up light heavy (Adamek?) or an acceptable enough foe like Darnell Wilson? Claude A's editorial after the fight collapsed was a good bit of writing. Obviously he's not allowed to rip Warren but he got the kep points across tactfully that other ppl don't accept Warren's terms.

No suprise though, Frank is a good business man, and knows that throwing Enzo in with Haye, who could quite easily land a bomb and end the Welshman's career, for nothing is a no brainer.

Warren will always get more people on his books he is known to have a lot of clout and make a fair bit of money.
However in 3 years Haye is likely to be the only british HW at a good level (Sprott old, Audley old Williams old [and nuts], Skelton very old [and over rated]). I fancy Haye when he steps up more than Enzo. Warren should be throughing money at Bradly Price right now!

To be honest, I wouldn't like either of them to hit me, because I imagine having my jaw rebuilt would be quite expensive.
But Glen Kelly? I'm sure the shots Haye threw were impressive, but Kelly was an over the hill lightheavy. If I'm being honest, I think Enzo sparking an over the hill Dominguez is considerably more impressive as a display of power.
