Matt Skelton V Julius Francis

Apparently as we all expected Julius Francis will fight Heavyweight hopeful Matt Skelton on February 7th. I predict Skelton will do away with Francis in 2 or 3 rounds, his power and workrate will prove too much for shop worn Francis who is after pay days now and rightly so. If it wasn't for the shock win over Steffen Nielsen then i think more people would be calling for Julius to retire by now. How much does he have left to give? SKY will no doubt call it a "Statement Of Intent" or something like that but i don't think Francis really has anything to offer and Skelton will make short work of him.

Yes old Julius looks on his last legs these days, but it's heavyweights so you never know.

Maybe he sees this as a last throw of the dice, and has visions of planting a big left hook on that oh-so-tempting target as Skelton steps in with his hands down..

Julius Francis, has no heart to want to win anymore.

As i have stated before, Francis will be unable to deal with the intense work rate or power that skelton brings.

Francis will surrender inside 4 rounds.

i am guessing Julius will raise his game a little when fighting another UK opponent

The Maskaev loss last time out was a bad one for Julius (who was floored twice and stopped in two rounds), but since a European title challenge to Sinan Samil Sam in April, in which he lasted seven rounds, he's dropped a 10-round decision to Steffen Nielsen in Denmark, a 12-round decision to the unbeaten Wladimir Virchis in the Ukraine in September, and an eight-round decision to ex-European heavyweight champion Luan Krasniqi in Hamburg in October. Then came the Maskaev mauling.
He normally sticks around.

Good points Bennie, as quickly as we all our are to revell in his demise Francis keeps trundling on. However i may as well stick with my original prediction, i mean he has to finally go at some point and the more i keep saying it i will eventually be right!
