An excellent match between two great welterweight champions. Who wins this one?

Can't believe no responses.Maybe I'm showing my age. Luis Manuel easy.
One of the most overlooked fighters of any era. His losses to Griffith were by split decisions. I thought he won all of them. The fight I thought the least impressive was his one win to gain the title. He was Cuban living in Florida and didn't have a great following. He fought a lot of guys in their hometowns. 120 fights only 13 losses. Like a lot of the greats went past his prime. Always gave you his money's worth.

Curry didn't fight the caliber of fighters nor the number of fights as "The Nose"

I'd go for Rodriguez too, though I think it would be a good competitive fight, but Luis was a cut above Curry... its a shame that Luis gets so few mentions these days....

Luis would have beaten Curry 100 out of 100.

Look at LMR record: wins over Emile Griffith, Curtis Cokes, Rocky Rivero, Skeeter McClure, Rubin Carter, George Benton, Gomeo Brennan, Benny Paret, etc etc etc....
