The Board has ordered Liverpool’s Tony Dodson to make the first defence of his British super-middleweight title against Nottingham’s undefeated Carl Froch.
At middleweight Howard Eastman must make the fourth defence of his domestic crown against Coventry’s undefeated Steven Bendall while lightweight champion Graham Earl is mandated to defend against the man he won the title from, Bobby Vanzie.
The British flyweight title has now been declared vacant due to the recent IBO title success of Nottingham's Jason Booth.

Good fights,
Bendall will still be one of Howard Eastman better opponents which says alot about how deserving his next world title shot is. Still though, Bendall is undefeated so you never can tell with undefeated fighters.
I still expect Eastman to come through an win a one-sided fight with a stoppage around the 8th.
Vanzie vs Earl, all I have to say is well done BBBoC. It was a bore the last time, but Vanzie is more than deserving of this rematch. Not sure who will come through in this one.
Froch vs Dodson? Well Froch did beat Page in an elimator, I'm still very curious as to why the BBBoC don't consider the case of Glenn Cateley. Also, Dean Francis who was robbed against Barney, I would like to have seen Francis as the mandatory just to see his reaction (i.e. has he retired or not).
Robin Reid aswell is more than worthy, but I suppose he's beyond this stage, but I don't think Cateley is.

I can't see Bendall lasting very long, he is a very ordinary fighter. I know we can't take much from common opponents but they both have one in Mike Algoet. Eastman stopped him in 8 back in 1999 while Bendall won a split decision over him in 2003. Eastman TKO5 Bendall IMO.
As for Vanzie-Earl, well Vanzie should reclaim i would think, his loss was debatable and Earl has always looked unimpressive during and since that fight, i've never seen what the fuss was all about with him to be honest.
