JUST BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SEEMINGLY A FRIEND THOUGHT IT FUNNY TO POST A THREAD IN MY NAME.
I JUST WANT TO CLARIFY THAT I HAVE NEVER AND WILL NEVER PARTICIPATE IN ANY TYPE OF SCAMMING OF THIS NATURE.
I APOLAGISE FOR THIS AND ONCE AGAIN IT IS NOT TRUE I WAS PAID TO THROW A FIGHT(WHICH I WASNT IN THE GREATEST SHAPE ANYWAY)

You would look better if you just said you were pissed and were upset about your performance and wanted to get it off your chest.
You had the bottle to get in there, knowing you were out of shape, and you had a fair few amatuer contests, so some of the flack you are getting on here from blokes who have never fought is well out of order. Discraceful, in fact.
Forget what people say on here, get your head down and get fit, if you still want to box.
You could even go back amatuer, if you wanted.

Can you go back amateur if you've fought pro?
Oh, hang on, he didn't really fight pro did he?
He turned up out of shape, with no cornerman and from the report of the 'fight', no ambition. This after 12+ months of heroic posts on here about what a great fighter he was.
KO Artist, you can biggy him up all you want but I'd call that stupidity rather than courage.
He's not really getting bagged for his failed dream. That was understandable. He's getting bagged for his drunken rant the other day. Which wasn't understandable.

Martin T Gillick, our own boxrec warrior. Search down for a thread from Saturday and see the links within it to what we're talking about. Also search for MTG and see the threads going back years.Emerson Poncey Name Ghent wrote:Martin who?
Anyhow, all the best Martin, nobody on here wants to see you fail, just get in shape, either go back to amateur or give the pro game a good go and see how far you can take it. At the end of the day you've got more courage than me to step into the ring and when you look back at least you can say you tried instead of looking back and thinking what if!
Don't be take the Homer Simpson quote to heart:
'You tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.'

"gring you" is that alternative cannock dialect for "pay you to go" ?Chambers2 wrote:Don't let the bastards gring you downMTG wrote:JUST BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION THAT SEEMINGLY A FRIEND THOUGHT IT FUNNY TO POST A THREAD IN MY NAME.

Yeah, mate, I have. And I took it seriously too. Unlike your mate MTG.
You'd be some well know championship boxer wouldn't you with your fancy handle I suppose. Or what?

Yeah, you'd think from all the heroic names we were in the midst of some real top class fighters...Wales wrote:you can go back am unless youve had 4 (is it??) pro fighs... but we all know the craic. pro boxer comes on here, everyone gives them more respect than a normal poster, but then a spanner is thrown in the works (or gets in the ring).

Me? 82 amatuer fights, and half a dozen unlicenced.
