At the moment, at fighting weight, Bennett has 30 pounds on Skinny. Not on.

Are we talking about the same Chad Bennett? "Hollywood" has been fighting at between light- middle and middle lately. Skinny has been fighting below lightweight limit. Maybe you know something I don't.

I haven't seen Crampton but wouldn't it have made more sense for Chad to beat him when he was unbeaten? Why bother fighting him after he just had a big loss?

I guess it could still be a decent local fight so I hope it happens.

maybe fear held him back, chads wins r made up of overweight lightweights and thais it still has to happen yet i myself see chad getting cold feet,if not then more than likely stopped, chad is not in bens class :box: but its better than him fighting a manilla folder 4 2 rds

In his last fight Bennett KOed Jangphonat in 3. Two months earlier Geale managed a points decision over Jangphonat. Why should Bennett drop back to 10 stone or 10.7?

Bennett is the biggest pretender in Australian Boxing and will not go near a fight with Crampton or anyone else who can hold their hands up. He has struggled to make welter let alone a lighter weight.

I've seen Chad a few times and he doesn't seem all that bad, certainly no worse than any of the other local boys who fight imports...

In all fairness jangphonak is a good fighter with excellent judgement of distance.. on the Green Murdoch undercard he embarressed hollywood who claimed to have a broken hand.. But broken hand or none i think bennett landed about 4 clean shots on him all fight

Because he was getting paid too. Middleman hit the nail on the head. Bennetts a joke. Anyone who can fake a mugging & cut themself to avoid a fight is capable of setting up a dive.

That Thi bloke didn't take a dive. Chad hit him with a really good shot I saw it. I don't think Jangphonat or any other Thi bloke would take a dive they always come to fight.

Im not so sure sapphire.. Go over to the bangkok markets and see what sort of loot $1000 will buy..
Im sure that after the promoter paid for his airfare over here and told him he was getting under a thousand to fight a regional champion he would have accepted any offer..
Now i cant say whether or not he threw it because i didnt see it but lets have a bit of common sense mate, its that dirt poor in those shithouse 3rd world countries that if i was starving to death and my 12 year old sister was about to go sell herself on the street to feed the family id take an extra thousand to go ass over head..

Jangphonak is a muay thai fighter anyways, he probly doesnt give a stuff about what his boxing record looks like
