Bradley Pryce

Watching his past two fights, I was struck by how improved he was. Especially after thrashings by Olusegun and Jennings (in what was a remarkable fight due to Pryce's strong 1st and 12th rds).

He looks good, more compact and business-like, up at 154-pounds. Amazing that he turned pro as a lightweight or a super feather, and it's hard to believe he's only 26.

We'll see just how good he is when he fights someone that can back him up, but right now he's a really interesting fighter.

It seemed at times like Pryce was destined to become a journeyman, but now he's Commonwealth champ with MAYBE better to look forward to. I'm very critical of Sports Network fighters and practises, but it's good to see an underdog come through like Pryce has done.

I hear he's been in quite a few wars. Would appreciate it if someone could let me know what the best fights he's been in are, pre-Jennings.

A lot of Bradley Price's early fights are wars, I actually felt he would be finished by now the way he would get drawn into a tear up.

My memory is a little hazy but was it his fight with Gavin Down that was a see-saw battle that saw Pryce covered in blood and rocked a few times but winning? Also did better than a lot of people predicted against Neil Sinclair

Yep, he was Gatti or Thompson-like vs Down. It was named Fight of the Year by Boxing News.

His fight with Jason Hall was excellent, too. Came back from a terrible start and somehow got a decisive second win despite being the less seasoned fighter.

Ted Bami gave him a bit of a hiding too if memory serves me right, couldn't miss him all night long with the right hand. Amazing how he's improved in the last few years although I think the fact that he's become a lot more disciplined is the main reason behind it.

After the Olusegun fight i thought he was finished, but he's proved me completly wrong.
So when does he try and step up?

There was talk of him by-passing Moore and onto a world title shot against Forrest but he'd get flattened.

Good few wins of late, but he's not world class. This is his league.....

Pryce vs Rhodes would be a decent fight, now that Rhodes is back at light middle, allegedly promotes both of them so it shouldn't be to hard to make.

yeah, I can't see him going above Commonwealth level. But he makes for good fights. He's definitely no Steve Robinson, who he's reminded me a bit of recently.

One of my favourites. Great fighter. Gutsy fkker. With some ability and under Enzo could go further than many think. With the right engine and focus he'd be a handful for plenty. Style wise he can box or slug. Good fighter.

Still think he may be better suited to Welterweight but he's making a mark at Light-Middle.

I'd like to see him against an international opponent, though Rhodes would be good, though naturally stronger?

Good fight though.

he looks a bit fleshy at LM but i like the guy as dave says, loads of skills and guts and balls, and still only in mid 20's.

he should take on one of the alexander/rhodes sort of fellas.

Rhodes would probably ask for a few more warm-up fights first
