Get me out of Eastside...

I was banned from Eastside several months ago and never had any desire to venture back to that sickeningly pro-Hennessy forum. However, for some reason, I was PM'd yesterday and told my ban had been lifted. I decided to see if anything had changed in the months I'd been away? I should have known better. Spud, no longer the moderator, of course, is still shamelessly polluting the site with his Hennessy crap. He had started a thread under the heading, "Who would you sign?" (if you were a promoter). Several good replies were given (Hatton, Mayorga, Tyson, David Haye, Floyd Mayweather, etc). In the end, Spud, gives his own answer: Carl Froch!
Then I click on the UK boxing section, and the lead topic is an interview Spud has done with, get this, Matthew Barney.
Rumble, please reinforce the ban. I NEVER ever want to access your forum again. Ban me NOW!

I'm currently researching an article on internet boxing forums. You know, where British fans can go for discussion online? How they can expect to be treated? What content is offered? And so forth.
Eastside is hardly going to come out with flying colours.

The only time i have gone over there was to see what all the fuss was about and i ended up posting a couple of times on the Aussie forum and then have not returned since. There forum's are a complete joke, threads like: "Roy Jones V Nicolay Valuev Who Wins?" and "Anthony Mundine Stars In Pop Idol"

Im intrested to know who this guy is as he says he knows everyone at Hennessy promotions and he is a pundit or something,you'll find he would never meet you if you were at one of there shows thats always the way with Internet loud mouths

Andrew "Spud" Woollatt. A bald guy who runs around trying to get on the BBC-TV cameras at Hennessy promotions. He's got a head like a potato. Hence his nickname: tosser.

Spud got me banned from the ESB forum, because I put a sarcastic comment under a post of his. He then sent me a Email calling me childish and a timewaster...and said if i done it again i would be banned. So i sent him back a reply stating how he was acting like a little Hitler...and to lighten up a little...needless to say i recieved another stating "conform or your out"...lol...what a tosser. I told him to shove it(as you do). He is a jumped up little prick...and needs a slap.

lol... i used to go to esb too, but ever since i realised that spud was a complete asswipe, i left. thank god he is no longer a mod. the guy needs to get a life seriously. hes turned me &a countless no. of my mates away from esb. even as a poster he is annoying. i find that if you ignore his posts, he goes away, but hes still damn annoying.

Spud's latest trick is to PM senior members here with offers of moderator posts on Eastside in an attempt to lure them away. The guy deserves no slack whatsoever, Goz. But you know that anyway.

You're joking!!! I think Spud is really over-estimating the importance of this whole Boxing forum world.

I mean I have a great time posting here and stuff but trying to 'poach' posters from other sites is taking things a bit too far.

What next, Supermodels turning up on our doorsteps willing to shag us in return for pledging our allegience to ESB?

I might do it then.....
