Damn sure it does. The man likes to act and talk crap and its a pity and someday it will hit him hard and he deserves that.

A fighter's career should be taken in the context of when he actually fought. A lot of fighters, of Benn's ilk, are troubled people and those troubles made them the fighter they were. What he does afterwards - good or bad - doesn't detract from what he achieved and did when he fought.
If he became the biggest arsehole on earth, it shouldn't or doesn't detract from his legacy.
As for the whole born-again business well I have never really bought into any of that at all but if it counterbalances Benn's perception of what's good or bad and informs him in his everday life then good on him. Not everyone needs it, but some people on the extreme edge of life need a little over compensation to divvy up the negatives.
