Soliman Houmono Vs Mark De Mori
Soliman Houmono Vs Mark De Mori
What would you think of this fight good for aussie boxing or not and who would you pick to win?
is your boy the same boy who got koed in 1 against john wyborn,he couldnt go to war with digger, got 2 admit i hav only seen mark fight once since that nite, against the american boy i think at hombush syd, i hope he has improved if he has bigger fish to fry, because haumona from wot ive seen would noc mark out cold .it wood not be awise move.i look at mark opponants he has beat and they are below par he has not fought anyone that can do wot sol canR_jay wrote:Gotta go with my boy De Mori. Too much power, he can go to war and gut it out, don't know if the same can be said of Haumono. Won't happen though, De Mori has bigger fish to fry.
Opponents like American Ed Mahone who fought on the Cameron - Ahuniha in NZ recently would be perfect for Solomon at this stage. Experienced, with a reasonable record in the USA but not top class. Mahone travelled to NZ to fight on an undercard. This is the sort of fight that Solomon needs & with someone who would travel here to do it. While the cost with travel, fee etc would be more than Solos recent opponents if they're serious these are the type of fights they need to make.
If you want to know whether he can take a punch or not, watch the fight vs Alex Leapai, which was an absolute war with both getting nailed with big, clean shots over and over again:middleman wrote:is your boy the same boy who got koed in 1 against john wyborn,he couldnt go to war with digger, got 2 admit i hav only seen mark fight once since that nite, against the american boy i think at hombush syd, i hope he has improved if he has bigger fish to fry, because haumona from wot ive seen would noc mark out cold .it wood not be awise move.i look at mark opponants he has beat and they are below par he has not fought anyone that can do wot sol canR_jay wrote:Gotta go with my boy De Mori. It really heats up after a couple of rounds.
Speaking the the guy in the lead up to the Wyborn fight, he'd say how he was feeling drained and very worn out, not having had time off after the Leapai fight, which was reflected in his next performance. You saw the results against Digger. Incidentally, if I remember correctly Wyborn also managed to shake up Haumono pretty damn good. Wyborn has no talent, but he has a pretty sneaky right hand that managed to do damage to both Haumono and Nathan Briggs.
hey guys good to hear people still now i exist with my recent lack of inactivity
re usa, i have my visa, would like one fight in perth asap prob against a good journeyman that can help me fight past the 6th round, kings people want to see what i can do so they want me to go over fight and stay in one of the training camps for a while, im sure it will soprt out if i have a future or not
re solomon, that would be a very good action fight,i think he is very talented and it would be a great crowd pleaser i was offered a fight with soloman but on short notice and i am now in a position where i dont have to take those fights thanks to sponsors etc.. im sure soloman and i will meet one day but for now usa is my focus.
to those that have seen me fight early in my career i can see why you would doubt me, i was very very inexperienced and unfit, i am now training like a pro and have some pro fight sunder my belt to go with my limited amatuer fights. my gosal is to be an entertaining tv fighter like tommy morrison or gatti and my market is usa where i can make some $ for my brain damage ;)

for the record, wyborn dropped mirovic in a fight too i was told, he was within 1 second of winning the aus heavyweight title vs nathan briggs and had hamouno wobble before he wascaught with a hail mary bomb, digger is a really nice guy, he came into the dressing room after the fight and offered alot of support, he basically said he could tell i was not there mentally and not to get too down as it can happen to anyone, great guy i really appreciated his words after such a dissappointing performance
mate wot an opportunity to go and train and fight in the usa, good luck to you ,and i wish u all the best, dominator wrote:hey guys good to hear people still now i exist with my recent lack of inactivity

What a superman Brian Fitzgerald must be. Boxrec has him now fighting both Hoppa & Solo one after the other in six rounders on the Mundine card.Is this to 1) save Khoder Nasser money as per his usual crap undercards 2) prove footballers can't fight 3) bolster Solo's k.o record 4) ensure Hoppa wins another fight 5) Give Fitz a christmas bonus for double pay. I know it's an error but a bit of fun to be had.
Solomon has 6 months off, and his fight is against Brian bloody Fitzgerald!!!
Come on Sol, step it up mate and stop fighting muppets.
I want to see you fight someone who does resemble a punchbag.
Good god I would sack your promoter/manager if this is all he can come up with after 6 months of inactivity !!!

Fitz does not have a twin brother, does he? Former World Junior Middleweight Champion Denny Moyer had a brother, Phil, who was only about a year older than him. Phil retired from boxing in 1962.
When Denny Moyer came out here in 1972 to fight Tony Mundine, Moyer, who had lost his title in 1963 to Ralph Dupas, was well past his best and lost badly. Somebody told Fighter Magazine Denny and Phil were twins.
Fighter ran a cartoon with Phil and Denny in the gym. Phil has his face bandaged and is saying "Listen Denny! That the last time I do you a favour!"

Fitzgerald already has a win over Hoppa, I have mentioned this a few times now... I don't see a problem with Hop rematching a bloke who beat him.razor7 wrote:What a superman Brian Fitzgerald must be.
