Good picks there Bennie, the only other thing I would mention is Diaz vs Quiroz 2 as an honourable mention for fight of the year.

Also, I would drop Vitali (who after all lost this year) and definately include Cory Spinks as a fighter of the year canditate. Beating the WBA and WBC champ, also going out to Italy and winning the IBF championship is quite an achievement.

Yeah good choices - some might give Manny Pac fighter of the year, or Jones Jr who did manage to stay unbeaten in 2003 moving & down the weights, but I think Toney edges it.
Mayorga was in the running, until he ran into The Spinks Jinx.

I've gazed into the tea leaves and here's my picks for 2004:

Fighter Of The Year - Floyd Mayweather ( moves up two weights winning titles)

Fight Of The Year - Brodie v Chi II

KO Of The Year: Tyson KO 2 Roy Jones

Upset Of The Year: Brewster KO 1 Sanders

Bennie, For the UK I'd go

Fight of the year: Gomez v Arthur ( close, but while Brodie/Chi was the more even fight, this one for pure drama did it for me )

Fighter of the year: Hatton

Upset of the year: Gomez/Arthur

Ko Of The Year: Murphy v Elcock
