Who cares, they're all scrubs. Especially Mason. He can't even spell "fight". Solomon could be worse though, but don't expect to see him rise to the top.

According to Danny Weidler in today's Sun Herald, Haumona was down to fight Hector Ricardo Sotelo of Argentinalon the Mundine/Clavero card on December 10. Sotelo stuffed that up by going to gaol. Khoder Nasser is looking for a replacement.

Seems a drastic way to avoid a fight.

Hopoate is fighting Brian Fitzgerald on the same card.

This will be a make or break fight for Hoppa. A win will allow him to feed those eight hungry kiddies a few more hot dogs. A loss will see Hoppa selling those hot dogs outside the SCG this summer.

Seriously, Hoppa will need to overcome Brian's jab if he is going to do any good.

I have no brief for Hopoate, but Haumona still has a perfect KO record and seems to be having trouble getting people to fight him.

Huamono-Briggs would be good im sure the nasty boy would be willing to fight him, I dont think Nasser would put Haumono in with him though.

i dont think briggs is ready 4 sol,and wot makes u think koda wouldnt put it on,briggs wood b crazy to wont that fight,couldnt see briggs taking it if offered

He may beat him, but he will have to get fitter and stay out of the way of Solo's right hand. Haumona grew up in a boxing gym. His father was an Australian heavyweight champion. He is not just a blow in from the football field. Briggs has a fight with Leapai about two weeks before the card we are talking about so he is out anyway.

That is inside six weeks from when Wilson was KOed by Mirovic. Would it be wise to put an aging boxer in with a big hitter under those circumstances?

It's a shame Sotelo is having a free holiday as his record suggested he was a step up ( albeit not a huge one) from what Haumono has been fighting. It at least showed some intent to test Haumono . Let's hope they keep trying to improve his opponents.

Sotelo has fought mostly as a lightheavy and cruiser. I would rather see Solo fight full sized heavyweights.

Maybe Big Willy remembered his last football injury to his wrist, which put him out for many weeks and was heavily strapped on his resumption.

Best decision he made was to put the boxing game on the back-burner, otherwise he would have become a chump.

There were only five teams that finished behind them this year. Considering the amount they spend on players, that is pretty ordinary.
