Bonkers Boxrec locked up...

A reliable source has informed me that Boxrec's new rankings system has unearthed Joe Mesi as number two heavyweight (Nasty will be happy, anyway) and Scott Harrison as number two in the hottest division in boxing at the moment, featherweight of course.
I can't go there to look myself. It will hurt too much.

Yes, Main Forum Moderator GreyMinus just told me on MSN Messenger the news and i ran along to look at the shocking new rankings system. Thank god i spend most of my time on the forum over here 8)

Thank god for that, Mesi at two?? I'm shocked that Boxing Monthly have put him into the top ten. For me, there are a few more deserving cases than him.

Don't know what the criteria is but Wlad at No 2, over Vitali? And Sanders not even in the top ten?!!
Mesi at six, over Tyson and Tua.......did I miss something?

I'm not a big fan of the guy but i think John Ruiz should be higher than 10, his win over Rahman should propel him higher than Mesi and Gomez neither of which have even fought a fighter of Rahman's calibre let alone beat one. Throw in Ruiz's win over Holyfield and Kirk Johnson and he deserves to be a little higher, also i don't think Toney should be so high either, he gatecrashed the Heavyweight with an impressive win over Holyfield but...take into account the state of Holyfield and then also consider it was his first ever fight at the weight i don't think he can jump straight into a top 5 spot ahead of someone like Chris Byrd who has earned respect in the division and has fought better fighters at the weight.
