KALI MEEHAN KNOCKED DAVARRYLL DOWN WITH A CRUSHING RIGHT HAND AT THE END OF THE SIXTH AND DAVARYLL STAYED ON HIS STOOL AT THE START OF THE SEVENTH.
KICK ARSE!

Considering the WBC ranked Williamson 4th it is excellent!
From what I have read it was Kali's trademark overhand right to the temple that did the job

So if My calculations are correct, that makes him the number 4 contender and a possible voluntary defence for the winner of Maskaev/peter OR a chance at the interim title held by peter (if peter was willing to defend it)
Personally i think that if kali used some lateral movement he could defeat samuel peter by out jabbing him and throwing a lot of punches.
What does every1 else think?

After todays efforts he could pronbably KO Peter as he has more power than McCline.

Great win for Kali, he really surprised me. This will put him well and truly back in the contender picture

I saw the KO punch on another web page. Good old overhead right! Nearly cracked his skull.

TOS couldn't even recover with a full minute break seeing as it happened just before the end of the round, at least he got a free trip to Disneyland!

Latest WBA ratings have Kali rated at No 5 contender. Others not up to date yet.

That may have been just the angle you were watching it from. If Kali KOed him by hitting him with his wrist he would probably have broken his wrist.

Solomon definately needs to step up his level of opposition but Kali is too big of ask for him at this stage. I think he needs the likes of De Mori, Briggs, Leapia, and he would end the careers of Mirovic and Wilson. Im sure he would beat all of those guys, but at least it would be a step in the right direction.

Isn't he with King... that means his had his fight for this 12 months, keep an eye out for late next year...
Although I did read somewhere that he thinks/thought he was in with a shot at getting a fight with Chag...
