I knew that Dwight Muhammad Qawi is the shortest Light Heavyweight Champion on his boxing record on this web site. If he was the shortest Light Heavyweight Champion and that means that Henry Maske is the tallest Light Heavyweight Champion at 6'4 1/2". Do you think that Pierre Fourie stands 6 foot or under that height? If you have the picture of Bob Foster fighting Pierre Fourie, you can see that Foster is the tall Light Heavyweight Champion at 6'3 1/2" and Fourie is a little bit smaller.

I heard read about Bob Foster's story that when he fought Pierre Fourie twice in 1973, he said that Pierre Fourie was a short little dude. Does Fourie stand 5'8", 5'9", or 5'10"? Can anyone find out how tall was he?

I think Fourie was about 5 foot 10.... I have some stories on him in my old boxing mags so i'll look them up to find out for sure, but I'm pretty sure he was a 5 foot 10er..... he was quite stocky and bull-like....

The size disparity in the Qawi/Foreman fight was comical.

I don't know how tall Adolf was, but his nickname was the bull, so that tends to make me think that he was shortish and stocky rather than tall and lanky.... probably a 5 foot 10er id say....

Remember the movie "the Raging Bull" where Eddie Mustafa Muhammad played "Blackjack" Billy Fox, Muhammad stood 6'0 1/2" and can you find out how tall was the real "Blackjack" Billy Fox?

Can you also find out how tall was Yolande Pompey? Does he stand 5'10"?

I don't know about Yolande Pompey, but I've got a question for you as well. Can you figure out what the color of Ray Anderson's trunks were when he fought Marion Connors for the Ohio State title back in '69?

I have no idea I never seen the Ray Anderson's fight with Marrion Connors about his colors nor I never what he looks like. Sorry, but it'a for another editor or author if they can find out how tall was Yolande Pompey of Trinidad who fought Archie Moore for his title in 1956. I'm very interested about Pompey's height. So for any editors and authors can find out in his record in anybooks, how really tall is Yolande Pompey?

Okay how about this way. Can anyone find out that you correct me if I'm right or I'm wrong, okay.
These are the following fighters if I was right or wrong:

I guess that "Blackjack" Billy Fox is 5'10"
I guess that Yolande Pompey is 5'10"
I guess that Gustav Scholz is 5'10"
I guess that Ray Anderson is 5'11"
I guess that Hal Carroll is 5'10"
I guess that Murray Sutherland is 5'11"
I guess that Jorge Victor Ahumada is 5'11"
I guess that Eddie Cotton is 5'10"
I guess that Lottie Mwale is 5'11"
I guess that Eddie Davis is 6'1"

I was just guessing how tall they are, but you can show me if I was right or if I was wrong. Please correct me if I was wrong.

This is a very silly thread and deserves no more attention. Suffice to say that your typical Light-Heavyweight stands more or less 6 feet tall. That's about how big they are because they are, well, Light-Heavyweights. Everybody happy?

Sorry about that. How about this is for Silkov if he knows how tall was Billy Fox, Yolande Pompey, and Eddie Davis who are the light heavyweight contenders? I made the questions on the few fighters only right now.

ray anderson was at my house once years ago. i forgot to measure him....damn...should have known the question would come up some day...but i'd say he measured about six feet...give or take seven or eight inches.

billy fox was well over three feet tall.
