I think Cameron needs to get his problems with cuts fixed (i believe he's talking to specialists) before he takes on Kali, otherwise it could be even uglier than his last fight
IMO kali would be way to experienced of an operator for him and much taller.. camerons biggest asset is his pressure and i just couldnt see him getting close enogh to put pressure on, by the 6th round his face would be covered in blood and be in dire need of some stitches
Yeah I read something about that. I think it was against Ruslan Chagaev. If it is it would be good for Kali, but Ruslan has a hard head, Kali may need to outbox him.
Meehan's next fight is a ten rounder against Croatian Mario Preskar on the Valuev-Lyakhovich card on February 16. Preskar, who is 6'1" and usually weighs around 220 pounds, has a 16-0-2 record against fighters I have never heard of.

Yeah and I had never heard of Preskar either... I can only assume it is a 'stay busy' fight for Meehan (which is lucky considering he is a Don King fighter and he is known for keeping his fighters inactive). Will we get to see this fight?
Now it has changed and Meehan is fighting the fading Jeremy Bates. Bates is all of 179cm tall and has lost more than he has won. The matchmaker should be shot.

Why the change? Did Preskar just pull out? Even though I had never heard of him I still think he is a better option than Bates... :)

Yeah I was wondering about that as well. Does it have something to do with the difference in rating between the two fighters or something (so a win against a scrub actually counts against you)?
