Never heard of Oxford road, surely you mean Oxford Circus on Oxford Street, the heart of the West End - fornicate just realised we are talking Manchester not London - Manchesters fault for having duplicate names.deadpan wrote:Victoria, Oxford Rd and Piccadilly are all very central. Piccadilly the most, though there are good bars near both the others, if that's your angle.
It's just under half hour from the airport by train. Stops at either Oxford Rd or Piccadilly.
Safe travels.
Ok we will head to that station any hotels near that when we come off?/ if so which one just so i can phone them tonite and book one, flying to vegas on tuesday but were all up in scotland so heading down night before just so there is no mishaps.overhand_right wrote:Definitely piccadilly. You walk out and walk down hill and you're already on the main street.
If you're looking for bars, find a big group of lads and say 'can you give me directions to Canal Street please?'

Theres a quality one right next to door to piccaddily i was in for free thanks to work training me. It was called the Rossetti, drunken staggering distance from Piccaddilly, can be there in like 30 secs. Its on a row of shops just next door. Real nice layout, huge bedrooms with unfeasibly high ceilings. Classy place, not expensive.
Just opposite are 2 huge hotels, forget their names, but they are more pricey but you can see em both as you walk out of Piccaddilly. Their all easy to get to, you can only walk to the right when you come out of piccaddilly anyway so no chance of going off in a crazy direction.
Try Rossetti first.
