This is an old event I know. However, I just ran across a newspaper that I had called the Golden Gloves Impact from Summer/Fall 2003. It lists the Nat'l Jr. GG Champs. Some of the names should be very familiar to forum members.

Hal - were you coaching Fernando at that time? If so, we had crossed paths way back then. Kenny Porter and his two sons and I met around this time.
I can dig up the 2001 Nat'l Jr. GG info and I bet everyone would recognize a lot of those names too. My son Jordan won his first National title at that tourney in 2001 in Las Vegas. I remember seeing Charles Hatley at that tourney among others. I talked to Charles about that tourney during the World Golden Gloves tourney and he too remembered a lot about it.
