I thought he had an injured hand?

I see he will be facing Bendall for the English middleweight title in February at the new Echo arena. With Smith and Derry Matthews both fighting i'll have to be attending.

Yeh I noticed it too, with that and the contender it looks like he is trying to move his carrer in a positve direction which is good to see, I hope he can use the fame brought to him from the contender to push on and do something in the US though, I feel that is a good avenue for boxers in the early stages of there carrer to get some more meaningful experiance. Pluse a few Yank fans don't go a miss when your arguing for a shot at something later in your carrer.

He was on here yesterday and I forgot to ask him myself. Hopefully he'll notice and clarify.

Still not an opponent named don't know how much that means, but don't look too likely. He mite just be getting a quick fight to recover from his hand problem and hoping to warm up for Bendall

Maybe another defence of the WBU International? The sooner they steer him away from that nonsense the better. How about Dodson for the British when Froch relinquishes.

Yes, Where is Paul Smith to comment on this thread? He's seemingly got an opinion about everyone else yet can't be bothered to let the fans know what the score is regarding his personal circumstances.

My personal circumstances have nothing in the slightest to do with you. And vice versa

I have been travelling back from Florida however, if that's ok with you?
And having an opinion is the whole point in using a forum. If nobody had an opinion there would be no board. Or is it just 'cos I fight that I get the sly comments.?

For the rest, I'm fighting December 8th as biolled, no opponent yet it will be an 8 rounder to tick over for English title in Feb

All the best

Doesn't seem to be an awful lot of opponents named given we're T5 days until countdown. Smith. Brook. Very unprofessional they've yet to announce a world title challenger for Jennings with 5 days to go.

You're a disrespectful prick. To talk like this about a good, unbeaten pro to his face.

We all have criticism of fighters; but to be outright rude to a pro fighter who has taken the step to reveal his true self on a public foeum is a low blow.

You're an engorged tool.

He's just a troll who wants an excuse to say to his mates next time Smith is on telly (he told me to fornicate off) wouldn't have the bollocks to say it to his face or even step in the ring with the apparent "plodding bum".

I always respected tony Dodson for the way he had respect for my opinions even though my opinion was that Carl Froch was too good for him, however I always try to maintain some respect for someone who has more bollox than I and is willing to step into a professional ring (I did a bit of sparing etc but never any proper fighting).

Thank you - at last some clear information about your career development to satisfy the interest of the fans who are interested in your progress. Much appreciated.

Yes, it may be a forum, and yes we are here to debate, but having made your identity known I think you have a duty to keep everyone informed about YOU when possible.

Take it as a compliment that we are interested rather than getting defensive Paul.

He was defensive because of the way you mentioned "he's got an opinion on everyone else" and "he can't be bothered"... sounded negative to me.

He doesn't have any kind of "duty" to inform anybody about anything. He's a boxer, not a press officer.

here here, its not his business to keep the drunken rabble that inhabit this forum informed of whats going on.

He's probably a bit busy making weight, no?
