Definitely no channel showing it live then ?
How about radio stations ? Is there a station you can get online to listen to it?
Just backed McCullough at 6/1 with Paddy Power yesterday. Great odds, I'm not convinced he'll win but I think he has a much better chance than the odds are suggesting. I think the bookies have got carried away with the Dunne fight..
Mind you they rarely get it wrong I suppose! Hopefully this time though!

This is still a Dennis Hobson show right? Thought he had a deal with Setanta - it was promised (with Dean Francis also on the bill) on Setanta - However, Francis has now jumped ship - well, it could be that he was never officially on the ship in the first place.
Really dissapointed, cause it looks a nice card.

It's on another forum that Eastmans doing a public workout in Belfast tomorrow so unless it's his brother Gilbert pretending to be Howard!Ted wrote:I think its called highlights.......fatton wrote:Only scheduled for 30 minutes? They must be expecting a short night!
Is there any truth in Eastman not turning up for the duddy fight?
Heard on the ol grapevine that the promoters are asking about for a suitable stand in.
tut, tut, tut!

Ted is the co-promoter of the now dead McCollough/Martinez match. You're looking at a prime example of Bullsh*t misinformation shoveled out by a so-called promoter whose primary purpose was to sabotage a rival's legitimate effort to re-establish world class boxing in N. Ireland.
TO TED....
Now that one (Ted's) promotion is dead, curiously ended by a weigh-in problem after only 850 seats were sold, and the other promotion is close to the 5,000 seat sellout number, what's your next move Ted? How far are you willing to take the trust of boxing fans and fool them for your own perverted purposes?
Oh! By the way.....See you at King's Hall on the 8th.....If there are any tickets left, have no fear --- They are moderately priced.
tut, tut, fukcin' TUT!
Best regards
Barring the odd unforseen circumstance there is no way this show (or main event) is in jeapordy. The promoter loses too much, Eastman loses a lot of money plus the opportunity to resusitate his career and Duddy loses a ton of €€ and the chance to show if he's got world class talent. Just too much loss for everyone involved for it not to happen.steve689 wrote:I haven't heard anything about Eastman pulling out. He did a workout at Breen's gym and has done a couple of press sessions including BBC NI so he is well up for it.
Both Duddy & Eastman have successfully trained up to the best of their abilities with no reported injuries. There's 6 days to go and there are no outstanding issues. As far as all are concerned, DUDDY/EASTMAN IS A "GO"!

To Jabby,
How the hell am I the co-promoter - cos i know a journo with links to both camps?
I'm pissed off the shows been called off, but its happened before and again am f*ckin raging.
Question:
What did they not put the Duddy Eastman show in Derry, at the brandywell.
you could have had 15,000 people at it.
5000 sell out, hope it goes well.
All the best!!!
