Now an MBE, the man who was told he would never walk again after his fight with Chris Eubank, goes from strength to strength.

Congratulations to Mike, these days there are many undeserving recipients Watson certainly deserves his honour. Now it'ts time more Boxers received there due, if Tim Henman is worthy of an award for trying hard then real winners within our sport should be rewarded. Watson played his part in a real exciting time in British Boxing history.

Yes, far more deserving than many of the Rugby Squad who are not only very young but also didn't kick a ball in the RWC.

Real Deal,

If he continues his charity work then I'm sure he'll get more honours. A Knighthood is quite rare for charity workers, which unfortunately is the only way Watson can get more honours.

What he did with the marathon was remarkable and his honour was thoroughly deserved.
