What if aaron pryor vs donald curry 1984

Post by marchegiano007 »

aaron pryor wanted sugar ray and the fight never took place, but i was wondering if he could had punch hard enough to beat donald curry at welterweight or he could had move to welterweight and fight tommy hearns. but he never actualy wanted to fight at welterweight. he never mentioned hearns.

An all-out swarming style is the best way to handle Curry but Pryor was fading fast by 84.

I don't know why pryor in his prime did not move to welterweight and seek big money fights. but he make the mistake by waiting and waiting for mancini and that fight never took place. he only talked about leonard because he knew he was going to get paid better than fighting arguello. but he never campaing at welterweight, so for sure he did not felt good with 7 pounds more fighting with heavier and stronger men. bobby joe young ko him in 1987 pryor now well past his prime, but at least you can tell that maybe he could not had been a force at welterweight or any higher weight like duran did.
