Thanks for starting a new Hatton thread DG. I was about to start a PBF/Hatton: DG's opinion thread myself, but thankfully you've got one up and running.

Yeah right. A peak, 28-year-old Mayweather took six rounds to beat up an
over the hill Arturo Gatti who basically just stood there and took his punches.

A fit Hatton who's not had to shed that last seven pounds is going to stand there and let Mayweather beat him up like that?

Hurting Hatton's one thing... keeping him hurt... that's another!

Don't get me wrong... not even saying Hatton will win but he's going to give Mayweather hell, that I'm sure of.

PBF took it easy on Gatti and did not go out of his way to stop him. Just a steady beating.

I think Hatton's going to get battered!

Any chance this thread can be pinned?

Everyone's has a right to air their opinion, but I for one do not think Ricky will get battered, beaten to a pulp, etc. Hatton may indeed lose to Mayweather, but I really cannot see Floyd dominating him in the say, the same way he did Gatti.

I will say this, while I have picked Floyd to win since the fight was announced, over the last few weeks, I have leaned more & more towards Ricky. He just seems so confident! Obviously, even if Hatton felt he wasn't going to win, he wouldn't admit as much.

Ricky seems to have the bit between his teeth. One just senses that he relishing the fight that little bit more than Floyd is at the moment. Whether that will still be the case come post-fight, remains to be seen.

Whatever the scenario, Ricky will give his all, 100%, & no one can ask ro criticise Ricky for that!

As I said on another thread, Ricky has more confidence with this one than he had against Tszyu, and so has Billy Graham.
