Not sure exactly - I always thought it was around 8.

The thing that shocked me on the video was the lack of headguards. Any of the AM shows I've been to have always worn headguards.

The minimum age to fight as an amateur in the uk is 11 and head guards were introduced in 1991 i think.Correct me if im wrong.
