8TH DECEMBER SHOW AT WIGAN – Despite the Ghanaian Super bantamweight Commonwealth champion puling out of his contest with Rendell Munroe , Frank Maloney has worked overtime to pull a 4th Title fight out of the bag to keep SKY happy -Jason Booth will now box Mathew Edmonds for the Bantamweight Commonwealth title. The evening has 12 fights including 4 title fights and will begin prompt at 8 .05PM with the first fight running until at least 1.00 AM with live boxing , there will then be live entertainment with a Spice girl tribute band performing in the ring before a John Bull look a like get us all singing into the English challenge of Ricky Hatton v Floyd Mayweather on the big screens. MARK THOMPSON – Has withdrawn from this event as despite an effort to get fit for a 6rnd contest he could not make it .
CARL DILCS – Moved to 5-0 with a first round stoppage of Brian wood last Saturday in Liverpool. Carl was very relaxed and never in trouble decking the Nottingham fighter twice with ram-rod jabs that made the referee stop the contest.
JAMIE MOORE - Had an operation this Monday to ensure his shoulder will be 100 percent for when his European title challenge finally happens next year. Jamie is a bit down at the moment as he has just had his new shorts delivered which were in Man United colours and had the dates of there European victories . Jamie is a big reds fan and had only recently been to Carrington to watch United train , lets hope that 2008 now sees a double with both becoming European champions !!!
