Where are they now.... Ian Napa.

Post by stujones »

Anybody know the whereabout of this once brilliant teenage talent. I expected big things, and I thought he could have still comeback after the Booth defeat (which came way too soon).

Anyone know, given his manner in his ring enterance, it might have been hard for him mentally to cope with defeat, cause he obviously very confident about his abilities.

Remind you of anyone?

Well yes, there must be some comparison. Both lost, both didn't suggest that was going to be their last fight, both have dissapeared, both were lets say "confident" about their abilities.

He hasnt fought since losing to Peter Culshaw in his last bout in mid 2001 i think.....

He had good potential but took on to much to early in Booth i feel.

Definately had the talent to do well so its a shame he has fallen by the wayside.

Ian Napa probably couldn't break an egg that was already cracked. It was always going to be hard for him to get up the ladder.

I wouldn't like to see Napa come back, the way he seemed to run out of gas so suddenly against Culshaw was worrying.
