Nightmare - Have You Fallen Asleep - Then Missed ...
I've been quite twatted by the time the fight starts. Remember nodding off once when in Mexico waiting for Michael Grant - Golota to start, in was on HBO. Woke up watching the replays of what looked like a highly entertaining fight.
Question - How come Spud is now making a concerted effort to ingratiate himself into this forum - starting nice threads like this? How long before the move for 'power' starts and you start badgering Shep to be made a moderator?

I almost never go out on the piss on these nights. For a start, I want to watch all the undercard, then of course there is the added difficulty of staying awake afterwards.
But for Lewis-Tyson, I went out cos a friend of mine was leaving to work abroad the next night. We started at about 6pm and got to my house at about 2am. That night, the fight started even later than they usually do, especially as it was in TN rather than west coast. His taxi to the airport arrived at 5pm, as the announcements were being made, and he was well pissed off. I stayed up (obviously) after he left, drank pretty quickly, but had consumed so much I forgot what happened in the fight. I woke up the next morning with only the vaguest recollection that Lewis had won, but I couldn't remember how or why. Went downstairs to see a congealing Guinness spread all over the carpet and had a flashback to kicking it over in excitement at the knockout. Still had to re-watch it, though, as I still couldn't remember the round or the preceding action.

I got off with a black woman from south London in Phnom Penh in June, she was about 6ft 2, at least.
It was like throwing a hot dog down a hallway...
