Well done with that Terry. I thought that the beginning about first impressions on Floyd was a bit outdated and nothing new as I am guessing this was from before their recent meetings, but it was refreshing to read what Graham had to say about tactics and get more of a feel of what has been going on inside camp. He seems to know exactly what he's doing. I remember seeing him asked bluntly on Sky before how he could come up with tactics to beat Mayweather and he was quite comfortable and confident about it without going into too much detail.

Cheers, yeah, that is the thing with Billy, he's great but I had to watch '24/7' through clenched teeth and rub out stuff as I went along to avoid overlap. Plus we both had similar thoughts on the fight from the beginning so a preview piece I hope to finish off now will reflect that.

I went through 3 tapes (after swearing I'd very little for this fight), with bits scattered about, and reduced it from 25 pages of speaking text. I finally got there around 2am on Thurs morning, then listened to Simon and Garfunkle to celebrate. Typical night really.

Well worth the effort. Great stuff, Terry. Much appreciated.

Not "Wednesday morning 3AM" then My wife is a huge fan of Simon and Garfunkel - We have signed albums and photos (the real thing) - Many hanging in frames in our hall - All the videos, all the CDs and loads of stuff about them - I was a fan but she was a dedicated fan, Art was her favourite and she has all his solo CDs as well.

Good interview Terry - interesting bit this:

BG: “Yeah, Floyd might not even fight moving backwards. He might take the centre of the ring and try backing Ricky up so we have to be prepared for everything and we've prepared for that as well.

“Ricky will push him, bully him and all that. I do worry that Floyd will come out early looking to bomb him out. He is likely to come out strong the more I think about it. It won't last long but it can happen. He stood there with Gatti and Gatti can bang."

I reckon he knows Floyd probably hits harder than credited for. He hurt Oscar, a light middle, so there's some pop on em alright.

Ricky looks bigger than Floyd in those 24/7, built like a brick wall, but it's suprising to note that Floyd is technicaly the bigger man, height and reach wise. But you could say, neither are true welterweights.
