I have Henry Porras fighting a guy named Porfirio Miranda at super middleweight on 2/27/99. The problem is that Miranda is listed fighting Ricardo Mayorga at welterweight on that same date. Both have the same location of San Jose, Costa Rica. The source is the 2001 Boxing Record Book. Is this a fightfax error?

Enter the opponent as "Opponent Unknown" and then leave a disclaimer in the comment section explaining the discrepancy.

"Opponent Unknown" should go on Ricardo Mayorga’s record, NOT Henry’s.
As far as I know Mayorga wasn’t even on the show.

Also in a hometown decision,
The Flores-Ortiz is officially ended after 4 rds, NOT the 5th.
The cards read 38-36, 40-37 y 40-37 with referee Franklin Acevedo deducting Otiz 2 points for so called head butts.
(Does that mean 2 of the Judges scored 3 rds even before the points deduction?;o)

Here is the complete card
Feb 27 San José, CR. Gimnasio Nacional

Even the write up promo’s for the card didn’t mention Mayorga.
