It will be on again, I orginally recorded it a year ago, there is ones featuring Bruno, Eubank, Cooper & Conteh which are also a good watch.

I've got a lot of time for the little fellow.

It pisses me off about the bad rap Barry gets on this forum, usually about his media work. What people forget is that 90% of an ITV audience do not care about boxing, they just want to watch a good scrap.
Many of his comments are aimed at that audience.

i've got near enuff his whole career on dvd.

excellent fighter.

That would have been a great fight. I'd go with Naz though but he would have had a job on his hands!

Hamed would have had to be at his absolute best to beat him.

Ingle had him going backwards.

McGuigan would have eaten Ingle up for breakfast.
But it would be easy to forget the befuddle factor Hamed had early in his career.

I like Barry. A passionate fan and good, professional analyst. Seems a good guy too.

Hear, hear.

A terrific world class fighter in his brief prime. A handful for any elite fighter when he was at his best - I think he would have given Naz a torrid night. I have always had respect for him and would rather listen to his words than an overexuberant journo tbh.

But sometimes an exfighter commentating on the game throughout the whole period after he has retired can get worn down not least by the new demands of a younger and fresher audience. I understand some of the criticism but do not accept it in any way at all.
