Dunno what fight you were watching, in my opinion Eastman landed the clean shots all fight, Duddys work was sloppy he didnt fight like he normally does, Eastman out husseled him in my eyes. Duddy done nothing hardly his work was sloppy as hell, Eastmans was too but Eastman landed the cleaner shots, it could EASILY of been a draw or even a Eastman win. Duddy will be anniholated by Pavlik, Taylor, or any of the top boys trust me...

I thought Eastman waltzed to a 96-94 win on my card but the ref saw opposite.

Eastman couldn't miss with that uppercut and was landing that left, right combo all night. On top of all this, he was getting those hooks in while inside.

Duddy kept coming forward but usually it amounted to nothing other than a blocked flurry.

The only thing Duddy demonstrated in this fight is that he has a good chin and they must of been scoring in his favour for how well he was taking shots.

eastman was landing some decent counters.

but i thought duddy was outhustling him tbh.

i agree with fat gav's view of the fight.

Well! Time to face the music!

I really thought Eastman was the bet tonight. And if I'm being honest, I still think he was.

Anyone watching that can tell he was better than Duddy, but once again he obviously didn't train. Very frustrating!

If there was a rematch and Howard trained for six weeks, I think he would stop him.

Duddy was much better than I expected, a tough SOB who's obviously got a very good chin. Good to see the Irish fans have got a replacement to cheer on after the Dunne shocker.

Palvik can stay where he is afaiac - Duddy's defense was non existant last last and although this has always been an issue it was highlighted last night.

I really worry that, altough he has a granite chin, a Kelly Palvik would break it for him. Eastman couldnt missed with any shot - Duddy was laboured, static and open - not a good combo.

I was actually impressed with Duddy, I think he edged it, just a little too busy for Howard. Duddy has a great style to watch but also a iron chin and he picks his shots nicely too. I wouldnt put him in a world title fight yet though, he should have anouther couple of fights and sharpen his defence and technique more, with a tighter defence I could see him giving some of the champs a decent fight....

I thought he won also - but Duddy was lazy all through the middle rounds and more worryingly is that every single Eastman shot landed with easy - zero lateral movement, zero slipping the jab and wheeling around, dropped left hand to expose the chin and hanging his chin out away from his chest - like I said Palvik would break it for him if he did that against him

I would be interested to hear how Martin Lindsay and Andrew Murray got on - I know the raw results but did they impress? Were either of these fighter's fights shown on the telecast?

Steve - I know you were there - any comments on either lad?

Yes indeed. I scored it 96-95 from ringside to Duddy. Murray looked bloody impressive against Gorman, they scored it after a head clash even though it was only in the 4th?! But Murray was running away with it, very good look about him.

Lindsay did his job against a tough veteran, a little routine, same thing most rounds but will improve and did well

Haughian was unlucky, had him winning by 3 points and Tontchev was so shot he made McCloskey look better but he did well.

Any other questions let me ave 'em. Written a report for BBN so keep an eye out
