Brian Magee returns to action at the King's Hall in Belfast on March 20 against an as yet unnamed opponent. There was talk of Omar Sheika facing the unbeaten and improving Ulsterman, but Sheika now takes part in a highly anticipated rematch with Scott Pemberton on January 23 in the States, so it looks unlikely he will be challenging IBO champion Magee.
The first meeting between Sheika and Pemberton last year was one of the fights of 2003.
