How'd I do tiger? Do you love it?
Fair enough, and I appreciate the effort!
Re. your assessment that I add nothing and everyone agrees - well, it's already been said (and not by me) that I do "contribute" and that most prickles have been ironed out, so please don't speak on everyone else's behalf.
I don't have a "holier than thou" attitude. If it comes across that way, very honestly it was never my intention, and again, in my own defence, while I can admit to having been argumentative in the past, that really was in response to attitudes that were shown to me here.
Asterisk is liked here but I do suspect it's because he's a very "safe" poster. I don't mean that in a bad way at all, it's just an observation.
I rate some Aussie boxers, I don't rate some others. Exactly the same as any other country in the boxing world. Therefore if I discuss boxing here, some of it will be complimentary, some of it willbe critical. I could play it safe by only posting about the positives, but I think talking about boxing's negative points is every bit as valid.
And again, YES I DO talk about positive/complimentary points when appropriate. I do not "only try and belittle Australia". The thing is, for whatever reason, you never seem to engage me in discussion when I do offer congratulations, a prediction of an Aussie win, a complimentary assessment of someone's potential, etc. I honestly think you ignore such instances because they go against your erroneous but immovable opinion of what I stand for.
For the record, a quick digest of pro-Aussie stuff I've said recently: Comfortable prediction of Katsidis over Mitchell and full kudos for the win after it happened. Priase for Katsidis' personality and conduct outside the ring. Rooting for Meehan to beat Chagaev (albeit not predicting it). Support for Meehan as he was getting messed around by the WBA. Strongly fighting Danny Green's corner on the Current Scene when the Yanks were trying to discredit his Jones win, and even buying into Jones' preposterous "cheating" allegations. I've even joined in with the anti-Mundine movement, because while I used to like and rate him, he's just been taking the piss in the past couple of years.
