Yeah should've mentioned Chief showed up too of course, I recall we were talking about middleweights..

Knockout artist showed us an excellent left uppercut by the way, while demonstrating how Nelson KO'd Pat Cowdell.
Glad to say it narrowly missed my chin - otherwise I would've had a very early night.

I recognised John Shep sitting next to Barry Hearn the next night on Sky - good win for his man Williams.

A kebab was it Goz - you didn't seem that pissed :D

It all went a bit pear-shaped after you left (and even worse by the end of tube journey), I think maybe Kilburn was spiking my drinks in an effort to get me to sign something agreeing that Holyfield was better than Lennox....

Over 18 friggin' years ago this. Doesn't seem like any length of time since this was being planned. I even remember that HH was wearing a Fendi jumper.

So how come this thread from 18 years ago can be dredged up, and yet there are so many from less than ten we can't any more?

Was this the meeting where Jaybee turned up and launched his kebabs about the place? May have been a BA meet up.
I remember really wanting to go on this, but the travel from and back to Manchester prohibited it.
