I don't know as much about Langford as I do about Greb, but Greb has the most impressive resume of any boxer imo
I'll tell you this about Langford, he beat ATG fighters from Lightweight to Heavyweight.
If he was modern, his ledger is akin to having wins over Duran at 35, Leonard at 47, Hagler at 60, Spinks at 75 @ Witherspoon at Heavyweight.
I agree with the greatness of the guys you are pushing.
Although, at lightweight:
Gans is probably a good match for Duran, but he did struggle to better Blackburn and Holly.
Walcott is probably the best match for Leonard, but Langford did only draw twith him (from memory)
I think Young Peter Jackson is probably the best match for Hagler and Langford was dominant against him. Ketchell might be a better call. I am not sure of the weights and it was a ND designed to build a return match, so it doesnt say as much as youd think.
Langford never really campained at light heavy from what i can tell. Philadelphia Jack O Brien probably is the closest to Spinks, i guess, but it is worth noting that Langford was above the limit when they fought.
At Heavy, he virtually beat everyone outside of Johnson which is the same as beating all except Tyson.
The strange thing i guess is that he is ranked at the pinnacle for his weight jumping, yet he was more dominant at the higher weights than the lower weights. quite strange really.
