can someone smell something ??Superheavy wrote:Very interesting JLP, especially the boundaries point.
I've been renovating a house recently and putting building waste in my front garden. Anything remotely valuable will disappear within 5 minutes. This is absolutely fine by me - but I did find it a bit odd one morning when I was in my front garden a traveller fella walked straight through my gate and picked up an old radiator propped up against the wall next to me. As I said, I didn't mind at all the fella taking it and selling it for a few quid, but I would have expected him to at least ask if it was alright to come in the garden and get it!
Another funny example of boundaries - my mam worked in a shoe shop in York. Lots of traveller families would come in. On one memorable occasion, one of the kids, about 10 or 11 year old, pulled his trousers down and had a shit right in the shop doorway!

Re: Gypsy John Fury
We have a fairly large Nigerian community where I work, and I come in to contact with them weekly I would say. Also a large Somalian community on our ground and they are ten times worse than any other community I have ever come in to contact with ( also have a permanent traveller site on our ground too who are by and large good as gold )The Dark Destroyer wrote:I've met two Nigerians in my life, I used to work with them and they were nothing like that at all.lillywhite14 wrote:Yep. Some will walk all over you if given the chance.
I have had a few experiences with Nigerians and if you don't stand your ground and take no shit from them, they will generally walk all over you. It's in their culture to loud, gesticulate and generally be pretty bolshy. Best way to deal with that is play them at their own game.

I'm a window cleaner in Donny and someone threw a turd at a first floor window and it stuck to it (not a traveller or a Nigerian though probably).

John Fury is on the right and Tyson on the left. They look like twins (despite the fact that Tyson is considerably taller).
