I agree,l remember Mickey Vann done that in the Katsidis-Earl fight,Graham's corner threw the towel in,Mickey threw it out again then Earl decked Katsidis
That fight must be up there as one of the best of all time in the UK. Never tire of watching it!

Also in Wolak vs Foreman fight ref threw the towel back. But it is getting more complicated when the guy just walks in the ring, which is a infringement on its own right.
Didn't something similar happened when Hatton fought Stephen Smith.

Rose looking very dry, doesn't look like he's got much of a sweat on from his warm up.

More I think about this fight more I am convinced in Jones win. Rose is just too much of a basic fighter.

X2 what a fight :box: The reason Vann did that was because the WBO rules stated that the fight couldn't be stopped by the towel coming in.

Moving away from the Rose fight - what were those Lightweight rankings from Sky. I think it is very difficult to still have Ricky Burns at #1 given that we have a WBO champion - and a guy who beat then man (clearly) who beat Derry Mathews.

Halling nutting himself that Jones has got off to a slow start which he almost always does anyway.

Burns deserves the No. 1 spot.

This reminds me of George Groves crying he shouldn't have been stopped by Froch the first time only to be properly flattened in the rematch.

Until today Burns had not won a lightweight fight for over 2 years.
