It isn't a pointless fight lol.
I doubt it because Haye has a fight lined up and Briggs doesn't and Haye will fight and likely beat someone decent and Briggs won't.
It says it all when Haye is out for 3.5 years and he jumps above Briggs in a few rankings after one fight, that gives you an indication of the level of opposition Briggs has been fighting for several years. You criticise Haye for fighting de Mori yet de Mori is better than anyone Briggs has fought in a long time. If you are gonna slate Haye then maybe you should slate Briggs too.

I do slate them both, they are at the same level, in fact Briggs won several matches against guys with a higher rating as De Mori, somehow he has also been inactive for a longer period. They are currently at the same level, Briggs a little higher, if Haye fights someone else, then I'm quite confident it will be someone who's a worser boxer as Shannon Briggs.

Your obsessed by rankings. In that case who are these guys Briggs has recently beaten who were ranked higher than De Mori then, considering he was ranked as high as 7th by the WBA in 2015?

I work for quite an established boxing publication (it's called Ring Magazine, I assume you haven't heard of it?) and we're always on the lookout for some bright young talent.Could you put together a couple of articles and I'll show them to the editor? Don't worry we have a proofreader so even if your spelling is f*cking atrocious and you regularly make the most basic grammatical errors we can sort that out!
We're actually thinking of doing a cover piece on Briggs: "Shannon the Cannon: is he the most avoided man in boxing?" Maybe you could be the man to interview The Man? Obviously we'd fly you out to Vegas first class.
I can't wait to read your efforts! Good luck!

Thanks for the offer, but I can't do that, I have more important things to do actually.
I know Ring Magazine, it was that magazine with Ronda Rousey or whatever her name was on the cover, but it doesn't really bother me.
But you're right, many boxers duck Shannon, with all kind of excuses.

Yup, sometimes odd names like Fres Oquendo, Miller, Gerber, Duhaupas suddenly come into high rankings for whatever reason, even though they never fought anyone that even came close to the top, or at least not recently, or only lost against hem.
As I've said before, David Haye is very very selectively looking for opponends, he very carefully looks at the numbers and double checks beforehand if he can win the fight or can't. Or if it's worth to accept the lose, like against Klitschko. He's about just as selectively selecting as Deontay Wilder and his team.

Ruiz not top 20, not even 25 actually.
Harrison was ranked even lower and everybody still called him a cheat.
Chisora I'm not a 100% sure any more, he was probably about rank 20 at the time.
Barrett was in fact ranked higher as Harrison and Chisora indeed, while we all knew he was the worser fighter, this was because of very very his lucky first round KO against Tye Fields with help of a fast counting referee, Haye fought him at the perfect moment, the match after that same Barrett got KOed in two rounds by Odlanier Solis which was very normal.
I have no idea what makes you think Bonin has ever been any good, you clearly don't seem to know what you're talking about, he's pretty much a dwarf heavyweight version of Gary Cornish.
David Haye has had two unfair shots against high leveled opponends in his life and lost them both, as expected.
Haye is very very selectively selecting his opponends, but in fact, he's really nothing special, he and Briggs are very similar.
Valuev was WBA champion even with 'pain in his bones'
Ruiz was WBA Mandatory (IE: Haye HAD to fight him)
Harrison was EBU Champion (this usually earns at least a top 15 world ranking)
Chisora was top ten end of.
There was nothing remotely 'lucky' about Barretts win over Fields.
I didn't state that Bonin was 'any good' however I DID state he was better than most of the people Briggs has beaten.
Why are you unable to spell a simple word like opponents?
You've answered my question for me as well, it's quite evident YOU ARE incredibly stupid.
Doesn't matter is Ruiz was WBA champion, he wasn't a top 20 and that's what you were acting like he was, neither was Harrison btw.
Chisora has been at one point indeed, both times when Tyson Fury fought him actually, but not at the moment he fought David Haye at his 3rd streak lose lol.
The win against Barrett was very very lucky, I guess you haven't even seen the fight, if Fields didn't try to keep standing the whole time, but fell to the ground straight away, he would have stood up, the fight would have gone on and Barrett would very most likely have lost anyway, as expected. It was a bit like the Fury Cunningham fight.
Lol, yea Bonin was better as most people Haye has beaten, but that's not what you stated, there are many many boxers Briggs has beaten that are far superior to Bonin, even guys like Ellis, Payne, Valdes and Liakhovich are lol.
Please note that I've never been in any country with English as a main language, the only moments I learn English is on school, on TV, online, or on holiday with people that usually aren't English themself.
I bet you can't speak or write any Dutch without google translate, I am typing without any spellingchecker or anything like that.

Je teksten lijken echt op google translate praat, maar menig immigrant praat ook met accent, dus ik sluit op zich niet uit dat je over een Nederlands paspoort beschikt.

Once again you dodged the question. I will ask it again, what fighters has Briggs beaten recently that were ranked higher than de Mori, who was ranked 7th by the WBA in 2015?
You will find loads of fighters whose careers are managed so they get a title shot in the easiest possible way, more so these days when everyone wants to keep the 0 on their record. Haye is far from the only one, the problem is the unbeaten fighters are probably ducking Haye too because they don't want to risk defeat and a title shot.
Briggs is far more guilty of picking easy opponents than Haye, at least Haye doesn't fight guys like Pettranyi who was stopped in his previous fight and aged 48. Or fighters like Carmack who was on a 5 fight losing streak and weighed over 300lbs. Briggs couldn't even stop Zumbano Love and we all know how shite he is. Could you honestly see Zumbano Love going the 12 round distance with Haye, he wouldn't last a round.

If that amazes you already, then that confirms the spot where your earlier comments already were expected to be.
@Controversial, Raphael Zumbrano Love is already better as Mark de Mori lol.
And it doesn't matter how good Haye is, he doesn't deserve to fight higher ranks as Shannon Briggs atm.
Anthony Joshua could have beaten both Charles Martin and Glazkov over a year ago as well, but he didn't deserve the shot at the time either.
Briggs did earn his shot at David Haye, David can duck him (and since he's a coward he will actually probably do), but that doesn't change the fact that Briggs deserves a higher rank, which he actually got.
Briggs simply proved more as Haye.

How has Briggs proved more than Haye, be specific instead of just repeating the same old sentence. Haye has been out the ring for 3.5 years and has already beaten someone ranked higher than any of Briggs recent opponents.

There's only one group that once graded De Mori higher as any of Briggs his opponends. They clearly were wrong and he's kicked out straight away.
Several of Briggs his opponends are, have been, or even both of them ranked higher as De Mori, that's the reason Briggs is higher ranked as David Haye is and even Briggs himself wants to fight even better contenders.
It's not complicated, it's really easy material, even you are suppost to understand it, there's absolutely no reason for David Haye to duck Briggs except fear which is fully understandeble in Hayes case, but that's a different story. Neither is there any reason for any top contender to offer Haye a fight except cash or trolling the mediahype. Haye never deserved a shot at Klitschko, Haye never deserved a shot at Thompson, he knows how to play the media and guys like you clearly fall for it, but that's really all he got to offer.

Your the one who was obsessed by rankings, when I turn the argument around you suddenly dismiss the rankings, how convenient.
There's no media hype in comparison to Briggs who does nothing else but follow fighters around videoing his exploits and demanding fights when he hasn't beaten anyone to deserve the opportunity. You are clearly falling for Briggs marketing hype. Haye isn't ducking him because its a pointless fight and Haye can beat far better fighters than Briggs. Haye isn't demanding anyone fights him either, he has said he will fight his way to the point he is eligible for a title shot, thats all you can ask from any fighter. You clearly don't like Haye and thats fair enough but to be a good debater you need to be fair and its clear you don't posses that ability. I would be the first to defend Briggs if he has done something to justify a big fight, the fact is he has done nothing, beaten no-one and is shot.

It doesn't matter what way you're looking at it, the amount of KO's, the ranks, the experience, the history, everything is in advantage of Briggs and you're the one claiming Briggs doesn't deserve a shot at Haye, while Haye has proved less, not me. Beïng inactive is not an excuse to call yourself a top contender, after the Wladimir fight even Vitali offered to fight Haye, but at that point Haye realised he wasn't ready for any Klitschko lol.
Also, Briggs has never been positive in the media, so how can you fall for a mediahype around him in the first place. It's a fair fight in every way, but if Haye chickens out, you can't blame Briggs for it. Continually repeat Briggs hasn't fought anyone is just silly, especially since Haye hasn't either, everyone with similar ranks simply avoid Briggs because they know he's far better as his rank suggests. Even if Briggs fights far superoir competition as Mark de Mori, you still don't seem to understand it.

Just to think, Shannon Briggs (2016) is a step from what he has been fighting recently!
Then again, his sparring partner's gym bag would be a better opponent than either De-Mori or Arnold Whathisname!
