al Haymon desperately wants and need Wilder to duck Povetkin. Framing Povetkin turned out to be so very convenient didn't it?
POVETKIN

Re: POVETKIN
Under the American system of justice, you're innocent until proven guilty.. The WBC did a many months long investigation to harass Povetkin, and then came out with mealy mouthed statements and findings that they couldn't prove he was guilty.. They're a bunch of fkking jerks who don't give a damn about anything but money, supporting their boys Wilder, Dibella, and their partners in crime at VADA.BitPlayer wrote:http://www.worldboxingnews.net/2017/02/ ... k-positiveKalan wrote:You're full of crap... Find one that concluded that. Not that they didn't have enough to conclude guilt, but he was actually innocent.
We lack the evidence to prove guilt =/= He's innocent

Do you not see the mtives forPovetkin to take PEDs? Just having a motive prooves shit.montrealsuper wrote:You don't see the heavy motives for Haymon and company to fu** Povetkin?BitPlayer wrote:Surely such a grand conspiracy theory requires more evidence than "Povetkin can't be guilty!". So we all agree then he was never proven to be innocent only they concluded there wasn't enough evidence, the civil case, which has a lower bar for certainty than criminal cases, thought there was enough evidence.Kalan wrote:Under the American system of justice, you're innocent until proven guilty.. Re: POVETKIN
This wasn't a criminal case.. The tests reveal whether Povetkin used PEDs or he didn't use them.. He passed all his tests according to the protocols of WADA and everyone else involved in the drug testing business who tested him.. Therefore it remains a question whether the jury was given false information was never contradicted by testimony or appropriate evidence.
This they surely did when Burstein uttered a blatant lie -- that the only reasonable explanation for Povetkin having a minute and allowable trace of Meldonium in his system is that he took Meldonium in 2016.. When VADA, WADA, and the WBC's rulings directly contradicted his statement.

Its a different standard in a criminal case (beyond a reasonable doubt), than a civil case (preponderance of the evidence.....51%).asdfjkl wrote:Is that how things work? They FOUND NO FACTS, just stated their biased opinion.
The jury only needs to be 51% sure of what happened. That is called a finding of fact in civil litigation
For me this is the perfect example of how massively destroyed Povetkin his reputation is. We're talking about an innocent men here, who's completely destroyed by mistakes solely made by Americans, possibly, what did I say, most likely, on purpose.
Sorry, the jury doesn't see things your way......unfortunately we don't live in the Kingdom of Kalan.
Re: POVETKIN
The preponderance of the evidence clearly demonstrates Povetkin isn’t guilty with 100% certainly... The WADA protocols proved he wasn't guilty after months of investigations… VADA and the WBC very reluctantly agreed.. They only wanted to thwart Ryabinsky's effort to make Moscow a competitive venue for World Heavyweight Championship Fights and to stop them from winning purse bids from American promoters. So at the latest possible hour they come up with a test that they claimed they had to "investigate" ... That action destroyed the promotion in itself, even though Povetkin was later exonerated of PED use.
But in the breach of contract case, Judd Burstein lied to the jury to get an unjust verdict and Povetkin's lawyer was either bought off, or he put on the worst defense in the history of law for some other reason. It's not about what I wanted to happen, it's about justice.. I hate whenever the bad guys win (which often happens in real life because they don't play fair) and justice isn't served.. I realize that the ultimate curve of the universe tends towards justice - and that justice will be served in the next life. That's why I'm not too angry. Christ himself was a victim of injustice in the form of capital punishment. That was to serve as an example to humankind that we need forbearance, because Judgment Day will come. However, it seems like a long time to wait.

Good post, Kalan. I think Povetkin is now the best heavyweight in the world. The Russians need to keep their athletes the hell away from Doc Goodman and her Las Vegas NeVADA Mafia drug planting racket.
