Btw ...dillian whyte in the studio....a minor blip...not a good idea to have a guy who says "also" pronounced "arrsehoe" ....the first time my ears perked up from the tablet....the second time i thought u arrsehole, youve gone on tv to say arrsehole every 5 seconds...

Whytes constant self promotion was cringeworthy...he lost to chisora and who really wants to see aj-whyte 2 or whyte -parker? .... ...the problem in parker would probably be the easiest fight for whyte...but whyte as wbo champ woukd be like someone pissing on the hit heavyweight boxing stove....let parker get a bit more experience v a hughie fury....if either of those wins its interesting.....whyte doesn't deserve a big payday before hes beaten cleanly some name at hw

I'm watching Rhodes-Moore to see what Smith was like I. 2009. Early doors but he doesn't seem too objectionable actually. Definitely more restrained and less exaggerated than the self-parody he became

The bodyshamer smith has quietly been exercising a genocide on older outdated pundits (watt, mcrory) and those who he doesnt like the look of (robinson)....the new world order of pundits is ....they must look and dress a certain way...ie the liverpudlian suited and booted grade 1 sides bouffant ...so the smiths, froch, bellew, barker all fit into that....and if u cant be that try to look likec eddie hearn....smith himself falls into the second category..as does david haye....he"s also installed a couple of ttits and aarse blondes ringside.......its all about (in alf garnett voice) appealing to yer casuals......its the new school versus franklyyn wwwarrens old school 1997 style presentation of bunce, hubbard ,colin hart, dempsey, with a smidgen of audley era bbc woodhall and macintosh....

Well another show brook-spence...the 3rd or 4th ppv blockbuster in a row...and fair is fair....skys presentation and in particular the presentation and team smith and hearn have put together goes from strenth to strength and new heights.

Special mention to adam smith is commentary was brilliant tonight...he stuck to calling the fight in front of him...the emotions conveyed..the stiries old were all perfect...this is the 4th big ppv show in a row where it is clear a corner is turned and skys coverage has reached a new level...and hearn keeps bringibg a great selection of fighters.... my interest in boxing is back after 2-3 dwindling years....

Well done adam it seems u took our critiques on board and changed and also showed us the path u were sticking to was the right-one........(fist pump) having it!!

Smith was nauseating on commentary. He really is so so tedious.

It's an ancestral Celtic war ritual Smith inherited from irish forebears

Two men face each other clad in loincloths and armed with large bones, the shoulder joint of an ox usually, and they fight either until first blood or on some occasions until one man is incapacitated

Smith is undefeated in this brutal form of combat, as you'd expect, thiugh in the manner of an elder statesman he stands away from the fray now leaving the field to younger more callow combatants, merely passing on his wisdom occasionally

I think we actually had a night of boxing without Smithy likening a fight to Barrera/Morales.
Anyway, I'd still love to know the true story behind him and Naz. Every time I ask I get a sarcastic made up story!

I googled this once and found the real story.

ISPEAKUMTROOTH on another forum told the tale:
He actually took his pen off him and gave it Johny slick Nelson, who to this day hasnt given it back to him.If you look closely, and i mean very closely because he doesnt make it obvious, you will see Johny brazenly and bravely taunting Adam by carressing it on Ringside.I know this is an actual fact, and i doubt if Smith will ever recover and thats what turned Smith to poofing.

I don't know is it just me.....but surely dubois and yardie must be looking at allegedly tired presentation that's stuck in the mid 90s and they see what Smith and Hearn are doing ........and its just a matter of time before they jump ship?.................. :box: Having it!!!

Understood, but one thing allegedly is gold at is contracts. They must be tied in, and apparently FW paid 6 figures for an unproven 19 yr old. He's tied in....

This thread's a right laugh, I hope you's don't run into a growling Smith in a back alley one night, I can imagine him ringing Kell and them both going through you like a vindaloo.

An' anotha fing!

No one's tied Adam in with the Smith brothers. What if he's their snooty, posh, older brother, forced by his mother to keep an eye on them and feed Paul a sh!t Latvian every 6 months.
Or make sure Stephen gets a title shot....

That's a fearsome prospect. Although you've really got to hand it to Smith. He has had a long reign and messed up big time along the way (Fraudley-Haye PPV) and stools and set of ringside tv show but the last 4 years its really come together.

I could see Adam Smith turning out to be the elder bastard brother of the Liverpool smiths. It would be like that movie "Grimsby". :TU:
