Waiting for his contract with FW to run out. He’s apparently had fight after fight fall through.

He needs to get back in the ring, got barred from my local recently for causing havoc.
Bit of a punchy sort outside the ring?
Yes, his Dads worse and the hangers on. Beer garden was a war zone when his group went at it with another group.

There’s a story about him knocking a bar full of people out on holiday and that’s when someone saw him and got him into boxing.
Shame, I enjoyed the fights I saw him in, let's hope he grows up a bit, otherwise these sorts always end up doing time

Mickey Duff told Sims he was one of the hardest men he had ever seen because Flint was a truly brutal puncher but a truly brutal puncher who happened to be around at the same time as Pat Cowdell.
Jimmy thought he could blast Sims out, went at him like a whirling dervish, no plan b that night, the tough Welshman tucked up, took his lumps and the Eastender pretty much done himself punching himself out.
It was a shame for Sammy that Barry McGuigan was around at the same time as him and wanted the British title. (McGuigan was good enough to bypass it, if he had wanted.) Team Sims did the right thing and vacated the belt but then Sims went in with Loris Stecca in a shot at the European title and took a pasting from which he was never really the same. Stecca vacated the European title to avoid McGuigan, dropped down to super-bantamweight and won the WBA title with a quite brilliant display against Leonardo Cruz in Italy.

Ha!
He obviously thought "fornicate this for a game of soldiers".

Never seen that before, but I seen someone get knocked down from a non punch in the first 30 seconds and get counted out in a blatant act of shitting it.

Also, was it Peter Oboh that turned up at the venue but then stormed off and fucked off home?

I cant recall who he was meant to fight now.

Yes Jon, it was.
Thanks for reminding me.
I can recall him having a massive sulk on in the corridors and then after he'd fucked off his promoter having an equally massive sulk on.

The pub did him a solid on that one - took all his memorabilia down from the walls - so he couldn’t be identified by the other group who were just working in the area.

His other family members are worse. When he’s with his missus or on his own I don’t mind a chat with him but when his dad/family/hangers are there I actually leave he pub and go somewhere else as it’s a time bomb.

Danny James is his real name. Neither quit because of the jail, that came later. Both were making a lot of cash away from the ring, Danny lost his 13th fight, which spooked him, being a superstitious gypsy! Not sure with Levi, he was just starting to put it all together and was some fighter! He stopped Johannesson and Nicky Cook in his ABA run. Was homesick for the commonwealth games and had to be virtually dragged onto the plane. Great lads, shame it ended up like it did. When they got to jail, my mate, 2-0 York pro Danny Wright was the gym screw!! And he boxed for Hunslet too. He said it was like a mad reunion ten years down the line.

i box for BIBA and share the gym with BBBoC boys and there is not a single difference in safety in fact id say BIBA are safer with their infrared brain scanners. our medicals are identical BiBAs maybe a touch more intense but other then that no different. BOXREC don't put our bouts up because the BBBoC don't like BIBA. there was some other reason behind iain not getting a license as one of my stable mates had identical condition and was granted his license. i haven't got my license due to the BBBoC not liking that i committed a crime in 2009

While I have no idea who you are or your level, there is no chance that the reason that you were refused a license by the BBBoC was because of a crime you committed 9 years ago.
The BBBoC do license and relicense fighters after prison terms have been served or if there parole has finished or you are of tag.
Richard Towers is an obvious example and there are many more..
Maybe you have never had a senior amateur fight? Even then there are boys without amateur experience who get licenses.

Judging by his name on here and that he boxes under BIBA I think its Tommy Jacobs

After a quick Google, I see he was sentenced to 12 years in 2009, even though he is out now I would imagine the board wouldn't consider him for a license until that 12 years is up, so in 2021. Obv he won't wait until then when he can earn a few quid off the BIBA.

He deserves a 2nd chance, he didn’t kill anyone & served his time. It’s a hard sport & most are from rough tough backgrounds and there’s always been a lot worse in boxing . Hope he gets his licence

What ever happened to Tommy Shields a light middle originally from Ireland but based in Paddington, he went 11-0 -9ko and was a pro for 2 years then seemed to just disappear ?
