Hunter will smash Ustinov. I've never seen zheng fight. I watched a couple fights of the other Zhang that asshat is enamored with. He's awful.

Kudos to Michael Hunter Jr. for stepping in & taking the fight. I think he'll rise to the occasion like he did his last time out & stop the bigger man in the later rounds. I'm looking forward to watching this card tomorrow on the DAZN at 2PM est.
Ha. You sound like you’re promoting the event.
Kinda like me.. I can’t wait to tune in at 7pm UK time on Sky Sports.

Hey, I just felt compelled to share with my fellow fight fanatics here in the States how & when they can watch. I feel like I've got to promote Hearn's DAZN venture here as much as possible because since its advent here I've been able to see so many more international fights that I'd have missed otherwise. So, I'm loving it. Were it to fail, I'd be crushed. I'd hate to go back to missing fights like these. It's the best $10 I've ever spent per month as far as I'm concerned.

The highlight of Zhang's career will be having a thread on Boxrec. He is nothing and will never be anything.

i dont rate him but hes not absolutely outrageously bad. medalled at olympics and at multiple world championships , and while slow and basic can maybe be a top 30-50 hw and fringe contend. though hes not exactly moving fast for a 34 year old
the other zhangs a total fraud though, every fight of his ive seen just gives off a massive impression of being 'arranged', i think one of the sanctioning bodies even suggested that hes shady

Been seven years as a pro. Being 30-50 ain't saying much, but I agree, Junlong Zhang's fights are total setups.

it wouldnt surprise me if he fights for the wba regular at some point. this fight was for a wba intercontinental type belt, and on dazn too. hearn might have been setting him up as a miller opponent (it was seemingly assumed at first that millers fight last week would be for the regular) if hed won

At least this Zhang has a bit of a jab and looks like a fighter, the other Zhang (ranked higher???) looks like and moves like a mid-70's WWE heel.

You may be right. I noticed some of his "opponents" had delayed reactions to his punches. He's a fat slow slob.

The only problem with that is you could end up with a situation where the rankings are dominated with guys who all have unpronounceable names, frequently alternative ways of spelling it, sometimes even known by two entirely different names like some of their towns and cities, hard to say, hard to spell, hard to differentiate, hard to even remember.
Be careful what you wish for.
They are only one syllable names, Candy. The ones you should be worried about are the unpronouncable eastern European names. There is a terrible shortage of vowels in Eastern Europe. Meanwhile Polynesia has a huge surplus of vowels. They should work out some sort of trade agreement. Maybe trade machine parts for vowels. Throw in some coconuts and breadfruit and pirogis and kasha or something to sweeten the deal.
I think the one syllable names is more true of the Koreas where it seems there are a pool of about a hundred or so such words of one to five letters, but mainly three to four, where you can pick any three and arrange them in any order and you've got a proper full name shared by any number of the two populations.
Chinese is a little different it seems to me. While you get many shorter names you also get place names like Changjiangkou aka Changjiang Kou and like Giangzhou aka Giang Zhou aka Canton.
I like your vowel joke very much and I too believe a good joke deserves a regular airing.
Ha ha! Do you want to air out my jokes so they don't stink so much!? Alas, people just don't apreciate my sophisticated humor.
Actually i think all Chinese and Korean surnames consist of only one syllable. Place names are different.
And speaking of sophisticated humor (like mine), here is the greatest boxing movie of all time:

Hunter is a G.
Chinese heavyweights are like mythical beasts, it’s time for them to show their faces, or just cower away for good.
Also what a laugh suggesting Ustinov being anywhere near world class, unless you meant Peter.

I think you meant to type "so called" but it came out as "sophisticated" - damn predictive text, eh?
Just kidding
